I liked the location it was great - and pretty quiet apart from the building work - if you are unfortunate to stay here ask for the front rather than the back so as not to overlook the building work and to have some shade on the balcony.||||Disliked · Despite the booking including breakfast - we were told that they did not provide it - we saw the breakfast room but it had clearly not been used for some time.||||Despite offering a free airport pick-up, when I contacted the hotel they said that they didn't and offered a taxi for $15 - we got a Grab for $6.||||Some idiot had over chlorinated the pool - I dived in and it immediately felt soapy which is a sign of alkalinity - the smell then caught my throat and I immediately got out - there was nowhere to shower off by the pool - so I had to run upstairs to clean off - I was in the water for less than a minute and my silver jewellery turned black!||I strongly suspect that the level of chemicals in the water was dangerous - however I didn't suffer any after-effects.||||Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking the pool - unfortunately they are demolishing and rebuilding the buildings opposite - which meant noise, lights and activity all night as the workers are living on the site.||||The room was not cleaned in the 5 nights that we stayed - nor was any water, towels etc. left||The safe didn't work||||I specifically picked a hotel with breakfast included and paid a bit more because of that - to then be told breakfast wasn't provided was outrageous - if I hadn't paid in advance I would have walked out.||||They are still advertising food and included breakfast on their own website and the booking sites when clearly it has not been on since the...
Read moreStayed here for 3 nights in December 2023 as part of an organised tour with G Adventures.||The hotel is in a great location - just off the main street, but set back down a little alleyway that means it's quiet. The reception area is quite large with space to sit down and we were offered a welcome drink on arrival. ||There's a small lift, but we took the stairs to our room on the second floor. The hotel seems to have an older part, then a more modern wing and we were in the latter. Our twin room was a good size, with comfortable double beds with spotless linen. There was air con plus a fan, a fridge, good sized tv, desk area and small table and chairs. We had a nice balcony area, which didn't really have much of a view, but we weren't there to spend time in the hotel anyway! ||The bathroom was a good size, with a concrete bath (they must've cast that when they built the room?!), a big separate shower area and a toilet. The sink and mirror were also really new. There was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The one thing the shower area lacked was a shelf to put things on and also a hook nearby for the towel (rather than on the back of the door), but otherwise it was great.||The hotel has a good sized outdoor swimming pool, with sun loungers around and an outdoor bar area. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The wifi was quick and had good range, even outdoors by the pool. Breakfast was good, with enough choice of local and western dishes to help start the day. The hotel also prepared a packed breakfast for our day at Angkor Wat. ||Overall, a...
Read moreI thought the hotel was really good but could not give it 5 as the internet connection was very unstable and disconnected all the time. Also it was slightly annoying there were no hand towels given, but I managed by using the bath towel. Maybe it was a form of being environmentally friendly?
I stayed here as part of the ultimate cambodia trip 2018 run by g adventures. Not sure how much it cost per night but I thought the hotel was pretty luxurious. The hotel has breakfast and they were nice to give us a packed lunch the morning we left at 4am to go and see the sunrise over Ankor Wat.
They have a swimming pool which I thought was a good size and very useful to cool down during the height of the afternoon heat! They offer towels by pool side as well. The room was clean and they had a hair dryer and soap was complimentary. There was a safe. Robes and slippers were even provided. I had a relatively comfortable nights sleep.
They have 2 massage companies to choose from who perform the massages in your room. I have never done a room massage before and thought it was pretty good. I went for the cheaper company and at 10USD it was good value. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Pub Street and probably 20 minutes to the night market and made in Cambodia market. It is in a great location.
I would...
