Tagged along with a few ppl who raved about the food here and I certainly wasn't disappointed. One of the best Massaman curries I've had in my life!
Menu and Taste: They have a whole load of options of food, with Cambodian, Thai and some of the continental options. They also have vegetarian options, infact I asked for a veg version of both the chicken Massaman curry and spring rolls and they happily catered to both requests. The coconut broth was thick, super flavourful. with all the right Thai seasonings. The fresh spring rolls were ok.
Ambience and Service: It's just a clean, simple space with comfortable tables and chairs. We were a group of 10 and they were able to take all orders and serve in reasonably quick time for a small restaurant. Very friendly staff.
Price: Very reasonable price (one of the cheapest and best one's you can get in the area for their quality and taste).

The welcome, as always in Cambodia, was exceptionally warm and friendly. The menu is in both Khmer and English and has a selection of recommended dishes on the first page. As a solo traveller, i tried the shrimp and fresh vegetable wraps served with a little dish of sweet sauce, followed by the Cambodian speciality of fish amok. Perhaps it's my fondness for highly spiced Thai food but I found the fish amok just a little under spiced and relatively bland. As it was my first time of trying I'll have to sample elsewhere to see if this is normal. I also ordered a large bottle of Angkor beer that was served alongside an ice cold glass and a small bowl of garlic infused peanuts with herb leaves. Overall, my rating is 4.5 stars and would happily...
Read moreWe spent 8 days in Siem Reap and tried many restaurants and street food in the city. This was hands down the best food we had in Cambodia. 5 minutes and a world away from Pub street.
A simple restaurant on the street and could be overlooked but so worth the visit. A mix of locals and tourists on our visit. Extensive menu focussing on Khmer classics and some Thai dishes.
The spices and sauces spanned the range between delicate when they needed to be and wonderfully flavoursome and spicy. All were well balanced and delicious. The staff were friendly, the restaurant clean and if we were staying longer we'd be back.
We had Amok Curry, Pounded Papaya and air dryed fish salad, prawn and vegetable rolls and Khmer fish Sour soup. Our entire dinner was about 16USD.
Love this place and can't...
