We ended up going during the stage 1 relaunch of covid-19 to get away from the city, and give our support to businesses who have been struggling during the whole shutdown. The location is a minute walk from the main downtown shopping area, with plenty of restaurants in close proximity. A few minute walk to the river as the name of the B&B suggests. Due to the covid19 outbreak, they were not allowing the use of the kitchen nor providing breakfast, but we recieved a nice discount to make up for it (allowed us to purchase breakfast elsewhere). The owner is super friendly, and very apologetic about the construction nearby, including noise from the fence being built around the property (not a problem at all!).
The family room we booked was lovely. A king size bed in the main room with the family room couch turned into bed for our little one. Very clean, the beds were amazing (didn't want to get up) and amazing view of the mountains.

We weren’t even sure if she knew the correct number of the place she was managing. When we got to the room, there was an insect on the bed, the side of the fridge door was dirty, and the floor had visible screws sticking out, which felt unsafe. The bedding and towels were all marked “Hilton,” which raised concerns about why they were being used here. For breakfast, we were left with just boiled eggs and one muffin for two people, which was very disappointing, bagel as hard as a rock! . Overall, the stay did not feel clean, comfortable, or welcoming at all. I would never recommend this place — it definitely did not...
