Taco N Tequila — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

Giving this place two stars - one for the delicious food and one for the great atmosphere. It was nice to experience once, but I won’t ever go again. This place doesn’t get anymore stars from me because they DO NOT accommodate guests with allergies. My man has life-threatening allergies to dairy and egg, so we asked to order the nachos without any cheese or sour cream. We were told we couldn’t order the nachos because “it doesn’t follow their system of consistency”. In other words, they believe that because there’s no cheese on the nacho, that it is no longer a nacho and they cannot sell us anything that isn’t on their menu. So, again, because the cheese wasn’t on my nacho, it wasn’t a nacho anymore, and they couldn’t make that for me. Our server went to go grab her supervisor and he told us it was “bizarre” to order a nacho without cheese and said again, that they cannot do that for us. Last time I checked, nachos didn’t only come with cheese on it - there would have been ground beef, salsa, guacamole, other veggies, etc and I wasn’t asking for any discount because we weren’t getting the cheese. Good service would have been offering to sell us nacho chips and the toppings separately or trying to come up with an alternate solution so we could enjoy a nacho. I knew when I was trying to explain this to them, they did not have the capacity to understand and help, so we just ordered our meals, drinks, and left. So, if you have allergies and want to eat here, there might be something on the menu you can have, but DON’T ask them to alter dishes for your well-being, because they will not. I’ve never experienced a place where they have actually said no to such a request. Disappointing. Was very excited to try this place and enjoyed the food, so we are very sad that we won’t be coming back or recommending this...

I have visited this location twice this summer, the first time just our family (4) and the second time with a larger group (12). The food and drink options are vast, with varying quantities to satiate even the hungriest of diners. Each time we went, it was clear to us this was a popular spot as there was a lineup out the door and onto the sidewalk from the time we arrived till time we left. Both times were pleasant experience wise, although I have to say I didn't particularly enjoy my fish tacos on my second visit. I found them to be slightly overcooked and over sauced. I felt like I was eating a sauce taco with a dressing of fish rather than making the fish the star of the dish. Also, the second visit was a bit chaotic which we later found out was due to be short staffed, as someone called in sick. That being said, after a long day of walking, sightseeing and enjoying the Niagara region with our kids and our friends kids, we were famished! Our server, the true star of the show, Alyssa was amazing! She was handling way more tables that any server should but she absolutely rocked it! She got our kids fed straight away, had the parents with drinks in hand to keep us sane and sprinkled in some humor with her vibrant personality. Our friends joined us an hour into our sitting and Alyssa had them fed, hydrated and seamlessly added to our table. I will definitely be going back to this place to work my way through their menu but the real joy was the excellent service. ...

Amazing experience to have if you are visiting Niagara Falls, the Canadian side. Staring with excellent customer service and highly professional staff members who you can feel their happiness doing their job serving customers as if they were born with wide smiles on their faces, Clodia served our table and she was a master with all means in serving us from suggestions of food, enabling the time to select our meal, guiding and helping us with all our needs and questions all the way from the very start to the end of our unique experience and she was kind enogh to even agree to taking a picture with me for google review. I deeply thank you Clodia you are an excellent fit to lead in this sector. The chef deserves another special thanks for the delicious food and variety of food selection with original maxican recepies. Place is clean, very organized and inviting, service is fast, interior design is just beautiful and seatings are very comfortable as if they want you to stay for long hours in enjoying your time. Prices are extremely matching the value of food and service and joy, and there is something for every budget. Parking is easy access free of charge for restaurant customers and in Niagara Falls that is something to consider as an added value for this experience. I would thank management and staff for making this place a special one with this level of full customer satisfaction. I do strongly recommend this place , and would duffienetly be visiting...
