I reserved my room on line, not knowing what to expect. when I arrived in Osoyoos and saw the Bella Villa I was glad I chose this place to spend the winter. The location is on a quiet side street and the back of the property has its own private clean sandy beach, sun decks. I stayed for a month in a main unit and moved into a lake front unit later. The lake front was spectacular. My own beach front entrance, deck and a dinning room window that gave me on of the greatest views one could ever hope for. The place is clean, quiet and the owners Deanna and Don are the greatest friendliest people you can imagine. I was so happy I chose Bella Villa, I stayed till I found a home of my own. The rooms are clean because I have personally witnessed the owner going around and inspecting the chambermaids work and if she so much as finds a small hair it is cleaned again. The family is courteous and friendly and can often be found sitting outside with guests enjoying the hot sun, warm chatter and cool summer drinks. Prices in the off season are very reasonable and in the peak season considering the location and the amenities it is well worth the money. They have done a great deal of work to upgrade, new furniture upgrade the grounds and there is even a diving platform and small paddle boat available for guests to enjoy. I will go back or recommend The Bella Villa Motel and Resort to anyone anytime. Dont let the outside appearance deter you. The Proprietors Don and Deanna are certainly in my opinion the friendliest most professional in the...

The manager was very nice and friendly every time I went and visited my friend.update August 2 2023 the owner is a real piece of work. She has camera's on the premises which is OK if used properly. Apparently she watches constantly where she lives and phones the person working If the worker has a visitor stay over she charges the worker extra so not able to have a boyfriend or girlfriend family member she gouges her employee's as much as she can there is a very little discount on the person rent I think $200.00 of rent of $900.00. Also she is constantly calling to tell the employees to kick someone out thar she say.I we t there a few times this year to visit a fiend renting there and the owner was there and she gave me the dirtiest look and never met this person it was the owner she recognized my vehicle so please boycott this place the owner is just greedy miserable person raking advantage of her employee's and she is not allowed to charge extra for overnight guest no one complains they need there job so please do...
Read moreWe booked it on the road while coming in from Seattle. It was a rushed reservation since we barely had any cell service driving through Mount Baker and Ross Lake National Parks. Google Maps gave the motel 3.5 stars and the photos didn’t look too bad… but wow, were they misleading.
First of all, this place should be condemned and burned to the ground.
We ended up crashing on the couch together and slept maybe two hours before waking up and leaving as the sun came up. The tiny, closet-sized bedroom had a military-style mattress that practically screamed, “tetanus shot required.” There was no way I was letting Karlie step foot in there—let alone sleep on that bed.
The fridge smelled like it came straight out of a Rob Zombie film. They literally left the door unlocked with the keys sitting on the kitchen counter for us. And instead of using proper drywall tape, they just slapped on some duct tape and painted over it. I’m not even kidding.
The tap and shower water reeked, probably coming from a shallow, smelly well. And get this—they charge a $30 cleaning fee if you use the dishes. As if we’d even consider touching them!
Honestly, I could go on, but the...
