Just got back from Homestead Tofino (May 2018). One of the most rewarding, enlightening and memorable get-aways I've ever had. The Homestead is a beautiful home away from home where all your needs are taken care of so you can fully relax and engulf yourself in the wonderment that is Tofino.||||Beautiful, clean accommodations. Fantastic location and view.||||The staff are the best in their field and just all around fantastic people, that quickly become friends.||||Personal Chef (Lara) - healthy, delicious meals and snacks that nourish your body and inspire a healthy, clean relationship with food. She always had great tips, helpful advice and cooking lessons too! I think we asked her for every recipe. A hard working, dedicated chef that takes great pride in her dishes. It was a delight to watch her create and even more so to dine at her table.||||Pro Outdoor Fitness instructor (Bryce) - customized to your current fitness level and goals. Bryce is so inspiring and motivating, and a great human being to boot. Whether you're looking to kick start your fitness or take your everyday workout to the next level, Bryce can accommodate. The best part... The world around you is your gym and equipment. Brilliant!||||Outdoor Eduction Specialist (Dylan) - knows all the best spots, the most jaw dropping hikes and beautiful trails to make the most out of your Tofino time. He enriches your hikes and outings with a true, deep rooted knowledge and respect for the great outdoors, and the history of Tofino. Whether you want a leisurely stroll along a boardwalk in a rainforest, or a half day hike up a mountain that pushes all your limits, Dylan's your man. A super cool person with a fantastic energy and a great sense of humour. This guy is aces all around!||||Yoga, massage and mindfulness professional (Stephanie) - a beautiful yoga practice for the body and soul. Whether you're a beginner, limited mobility or an experienced Yogi, Stephanie guides you through rewarding yoga sessions and meditation. She is also a massage therapist. Rounding out the day with a professional massage was just perfection. A pure, gentle spirit with an amazing energy surrounding her. It is truly a blessing to be in her presence.||||Surfing, stand up paddle boarding, canoe trips, kayak ... We received friendly and attentive hospitality from our hosts Kamma, Dylan, Taylor, and chef David. ||We were met at the airport in Tofino by Taylor, who drove us to the Homestead. We settled in, enjoying the feel of the resort, which is reminiscent of a wilderness lodge, on the waterfront. We kept busy with activities such as hiking, yoga and fitness classes, surfing, paddle boarding, and cooking lessons. The activities were tailored to the level of fitness in our group, and inclusive of everyone. ||||Attending the wellness retreat at the Homestead helped us realize our own potential and capacity for bringing wellness back into our own lives, and we are working to incorporate what we learned into lasting change.
