Super disappointed. We drive out from Saskatchewan every spring to visit friends and family on the island, and always take a day to drive out to Tofino, mainly to enjoy the amazing food at Aloha. We are super fans! Tostadas are second to none! When we arrived today, the gentleman working had just served up some food to someone, then we stood in line to order. After about 2 minutes of standing there, he finally said “I’ll be with you in just a moment”. Which was fine. We then continued to stand there for 10 minutes while he did various things in the kitchen, left to the back of the trailer and came back, etc without being acknowledged or told of the wait time. There was a couple behind us that showed up to order shortly after we arrived who were also very disappointed in the wait time. Eventually my daughter and I left as we were very hungry (it was about 2:15 when we showed up and we were planning on a late lunch there) and got food elsewhere. Amazing food, but super disappointed in this experience. I totally understand if there’s a delay or if he had to catch up with prep/wash dishes etc, but communication would have been super...

I was so excited to eat here seeing that it had a high rating on my gluten free community app. I’m celiac so it’s very important my food is gluten free. When I asked the lady at the front counter what’s gluten free she said everything except the waffles. Great! So I ordered one of the bowls and got the Aloha poke bowl and it was to go. I noticed that the calamari was breaded but since she told me it’s all gluten free I assumed that was GF breading. Well 3 hours later I got insanely ill and I had a horrible celiac reaction and was sick for 4 hours. Not the best way to spend my vacation and I can guarantee I will never be back here.

Not sure how to reply to the reply I got from the establishment but I know it was from this place because up to that point all I ate was grapes and yogurt that I have every morning at 7am then this was my lunch at 1pm. If I have a celiac reaction like that, it’s always exactly 3 hours later that I get sick. I ate this and drank water so for me, it’s impossible that it wasn’t...

Let me start off with saying I am very particular with how I like my raw fish. Al’oha Poke did a phenomenal job! The tuna was absolutely delicious, nice and fresh, while being complimented with the other ingredients mixed into the bowl. I got the O.G. Bowl with edamame added, as well as the Squid Tostata.

The staff who create these awesome bowls and tostadas are lovely, they are welcoming and kind, and despite being busy they still deliver quality products. Location wise, it’s grouped near some other small establishments, which is honestly perfect because you can treat yourself to a desert next door, or if a family or friend wants some different kind of food, there are options.

If you’re in Tofino this is definitely a place you should visit! I would make it my regular spot if I...

I’ve never been so offended for a food in my entire life. The “Diabla” Tacos I ordered had only 2 shrimps each, and they were extremely small, they add a lot of guacamole to try to hide them. The sauce was the worst one I’ve tried and on top of that the tortilla was cold and hard. The ceviche is not ceviche, they literally butchered any conceivable way to make ceviche. This eatery has nothing of “Mexican” and the tables and seats are old and uncomfortable. They don’t even have the menu they are advertising online. The washrooms were not open and when we asked for the key he first declared that there was someone and when I doubled checked that there was no one, he took his time to hand them to me. My visit was on July 29th 2025 at 4:05 pm. Never coming back!!!
