By Aanch is an Indian restaurant located in downtown Toronto, and after my recent visit, I must say it left a positive impression.

The menu offered a variety of appetizing options, and we decided to try the sizzling soya chaap, mutton kebab, dahi chawal ke pakode, and the Delhi Wala Butter Chicken. Each dish had its own unique flavors and was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs.

The sizzling soya chaap was cooked to perfection, offering a tantalizing combination of smoky and savory flavors. The mutton kebab was tender and well-spiced, leaving a lingering taste that pleased the palate. The dahi chawal ke pakode provided a delightful twist on traditional pakoras, with the addition of yogurt and rice lending a subtle tanginess. As for the Delhi Wala Butter Chicken, it was creamy and rich, although it could have benefited from a touch more seasoning to enhance the overall taste.

What truly set By Aanch apart was the outstanding service provided by Ashish and Rishabh. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile added a personal touch to our visit.

While the food at By Aanch was enjoyable, there is room for improvement. Although the flavors were generally good, a bit more attention to detail could have elevated the dishes to greater heights. Additionally, the Delhi Wala Butter Chicken could have been further enhanced with a bolder seasoning.

Overall, By Aanch is a restaurant worth visiting, especially for those seeking authentic Indian flavors in downtown Toronto. With its great service and a menu offering a range of delicious options, it provides a satisfying dining experience. I look forward to seeing how the restaurant continues to evolve and refine its culinary offerings...

Visited on Diwali with my girlfriend, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. First off, be careful when opening the door, it swings right into a board, which could easily hurt someone. Additionally, the setup isn’t accessible for individuals with physical disabilities, as the washrooms are located downstairs.

The servers didn’t seem welcoming; they looked stressed, possibly due to rush hour. A single server should ideally handle one table to maintain consistency, but here they were switching between tables. The restaurant itself is small and dark, with tables so compact that we had to consider table space before ordering. No recommendations were offered by the staff, which would have been helpful.

We experienced long wait times, with almost half an hour just for drinks, by which time we’d already finished our appetizers. For the main course, we waited an additional 45 minutes. The food is a bit overpriced, though the portion sizes were fair compared to other places. However, the food was excessively oily. We actually had to separate the oil ourselves, but there was still a lot left, making it quite unhealthy.

Overall, I felt that the experience and the evening were ruined. Improving this place would require addressing the understaffing issues and hiring more welcoming staff. Coordination between the kitchen and servers is essential; I’ve been to busier restaurants with similar staffing levels, but the service was far more efficient. It would have been nice if someone had checked in on us about the food rather than pushing for reviews.

Instead of asking for reviews, consider focusing on the overall quality of service and training the staff to handle different roles if necessary. If these issues aren’t resolved, it might be best to reconsider operating in the...

One of the best fine dining experience in GTA... From ambience to flavors to service to hygiene and cleanliness, everything was just perfect! I visited the restaurant with my best friend today and it did not disappoint.

Let me first thank Chef Sudhanshu Kumar for curating such a beautiful menu and bringing out such modern take on Indian cuisine.

The staff is extremely humble and made our experience memorable. We were greeted by Aashish and Kapil and they both helped us to make food selections for the night. The hospitality presented by them was unmatched. So Thank you guys!!!

We ended up ordering: Drinks: Mango Bunta(Mind blowing!!!🍹) Mango Lassi(loved the rose petals.made the drink royal👸) Starters: Dahi Chawal ke pakode(😘) , Sabudana Vada Chaat(🥰) Main course: Kadhai Paneer with chilli Naan (can't go wrong with this one😜) Truffle Mushroom naan(picture is missing as we were too busy eating!!🤣 but it was delicious) Degh Mutton biryani( my bestie loved it..🍛) By this time we were insanely full, but we couldn't just skip desserts, so we ended up finalizing, Banarasi Paan kulfi and it was love at first bite🍧

The food was delightful and unforgettable. I am going to visit soon as there is a lot to try out on the menu...

So if anyone wants to have some fun time with top of the class food choices, please don't miss out this hidden gem!!! 😍😍😍

Kudos to team...
