Stayed here before and after the W trek in Torres del Paine (on a side note don’t expect much else to do in this town, we were bored after 2 days!) it’s a quirky and creaky house. Had a private room with shared bathroom, bed was comfortable but the room itself was freezing. There’s a heater that makes the communal areas a sweat box but somehow the rooms are crazy cold. There’s also a dog belonging to the neighbours next door who barked relentlessly, I have industrial strength ear plugs and could still hear him...||Location is great from the bus terminal and a stretch of the legs to get into town but that didn’t bother us. Breakfast was ok but did include fresh, homemade bread which was a pleasant change. Staff allowed us to store our large backpacks whilst we were in TDP. ||There’s lots of other options in town if you don’t mind paying...

Read morei reeeeally liked this hostel even though it’s a bit farther than others in town- i enjoyed the walk. plz note: they do not offer camping anymore. very reasonable prices tho! (14k to 9500 for dorms depending on number of people in each room), there’s a kitchen! and the staff are vvvvvvvery sweet and helpful. i wanted to stay longer but the rooms were SUPER full in mid february (as most are in the town) a negative point- they separate the orgánics (because they have a compost-GREAT!) but the cleaning lady would throw all the organics in the bin instead of in the compost. stop...
