Hostal Reymer — Local services in Puerto Natales

We recently stayed at this hostel and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The room had a strong musty smell, and upon closer inspection, it was clear that the walls had been freshly painted. I suspect the hotel tried to cover up moldy walls by painting over the mold patches. To make matters worse, the room didn't have a window to the outside, so there was no way to ventilate the room. The air inside was extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. We informed the staff about the situation, and they were aware of the problem. However, they mentioned that the owner didn't believe them and suggested we report the issue, which we did. Unfortunately, the owner did not respond to our complaint. I must stress that this place is a serious health hazard. Anyone staying here is breathing in mold with every second they spend in the room. (As well in the bathroom, shower was moldy!) Breakfast was boloney, dry lemon loaf and poor quality bread. Windows open to a work yard with a dog that barks all night. (Poor dog.). Not allowed to leave bags for 90 min until Chek in as well as not allowed to wait at reception for it. Bed not clean- lots of black hair in my “clean”bed when I have no black hair :) dusty, mouldy. Staff not friendly. Walls very thin. Checked out the day early....
