Yume Cocina Fusión Japonesa — Restaurant in Puerto Natales

We came here from the great reviews and felt like a nice bowl of ramen. With the price and the pictures that we saw we were pretty excited to try the fusion.

However, what we didn't realise was that they changed the noodles to instant noodles and for that this was an instant let down especially for the price at 11,000 clp. The pictures we saw were from a year ago and it seems like they changed chefs or owners because the shrimps are different and the noodles are not the same noodles. I wasn't expecting authentic Japanese ramen but I also wasn't expecting instant noodles especially when older pictures showed otherwise.

They charged the same prices at back home in Australia where for the same price I would get an authentic bowl of Japanese ramen with handmade noodles. The soup itself is OK, quite plain with basic flavour, it's a very simple broth. The good is that they did give a decent amount of additions, like little shrimps and scallops for my "ebi ramen "but other than that it is very pricey for what you get. I think the other items looked better and priced accordingly with the rice dishes.

Service was very nice and WiFi worked well. I personally wouldn't pay for our instant noodle dish at this price again but if you do want a warm bowl of noodles and price is not an issue then...

Nice discovery in Puerto Natales! Perfect meal after a long day touring the National Park. As an asian, we tend to crave rice and warm meals. And I am ecstatic to have been in this place during our trip to have a break with steak and empanadas etc. Small restaurant but was full. Their ingredients are fresh, salmon poke bowl was really nicely seasoned/flavored. servings are huge yet we manage(2 people) to finish them😅. Oyakodon could have use a bit more sauce for the rice and chicken or maybe ask for more teriyaki sauce? But was still yummy nevertheless. After this meal we kept on craving japanese meal and the other was not at par with this resto. Certainly good value for money! Surprisingly cheap esp coming from el chalten en...

So delicious that we had to come back again to try more of the menu!

Yume blends amazing dishes, sauces and styles together to offer a rick and unique fusion food experience. I wish I could take the restaurant back to my home town because I would be a local there!

In addition to terrific food, Yume has excellent service, spot on music selection, and a very warm and inviting ambience to settle in and relax for dinner.

10/10 recommend to anyone passing through Puerto Natales, I look forward to any chance I get to eat...
