Built in the 19-thirties and renovated to a nice B&B, Hostel Patagonia Mistica is located at a short walking distance of the centre from Punto Arenas. The B&B offers 12 rooms over 2 floors. At ground floor back-side, is the breakfast room. In the evening you can ask for tea. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. ||||We had room 5, in handicapped outfit. Our simply furnished & decorated room had an OK double bed, small wardrobe, TV on the wall, chair, but no table. The window can be open but opens into the corridor leading to the breakfast room. A separate spacious bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower. All was clean.||||Breakfast is OK but could be better: cereals, bread & butter, cheese & ham, yoghurt & milk, orange juice & jam, tea & coffee. We found Hostel Patagonia Mistica a practical & pleasant hostel, and we had a good stay....

We stayed in this brilliant hostel as either end of a trip around Patagonia and it was our favourite place to stay. The rooms are really nice, ours had an ensuite bathroom and they warm and cosy and spacious. Breakfast was basic but welcome and the staff laid it on early for us on the day we went to see the Penguins. It is the staff though who make this place, they are incredibly helpful. When are luggage didn't arrive they spent ages trying to help us locate it and one even offered to go and buy us some socks and underwear!! Beyond the call of duty. Really great...
