Hostal del Estrecho — Hotel in Punta Arenas

Just stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend and used it as a base for checking out Punta Arenas sights / activities. The location is very convenient for shopping, restaurants, the bus stations, and the shore. We were able to walk to anywhere we wanted to go without any problem.||The room was old but roomy, a very comfortable bed, and the shower worked great for us. The staff was very helpful and called multiple tour operators for us to book activities. The included breakfast was good and the first day it included homemade crepes that tasted great. ||The price could not be beat and that was what really sold us on staying here. Overall it is in need of some TLC but I would not hesitate to recommend...

La verdad, la peor experiencia que he tenido, al llegar me pasaron una pieza donde no funcionaba bien el televisor,la calefacción un asco, no se podía regular la temperatura, insoportable el calor, para variar las ventanas todas apernadas no se podían habrir, las cortinas nisiquiera en buen estado, el control de la tv no funcionó nunca, tuve que pedir qe me cambien de habitación a las 1 am por no poder dormir por el calor, al cambio de pieza.. Estaba más o menos mejor, al menos la calefacción se podía regular. Al día siguiente me. Retiro, pero por trabajo regrese y empezó el webeo.. Me fui a la misma pieza, me sacaron porqe estaba ocupada, me. Pasaron a otra, y que va otravez la calefacción no funcionó, regule y nada, fui a decirles qe estaba defectuosa. Y va estaba apagado todo.. Conectaron, regrese y regule y nada.. No encendio hasta después de una hora.. Un chiste.. Las camas viejas.. El. Piso de la entrada ala pieza lleno de tierra y eso estaba del. Día anterior y ahí seguía.. El baño lo mismo.. Ah y la guinda de la torta. Cerré la puerta con seguro y después no habría, probamos llave por llave con el hombre que a todo esto el muy amable nada que decir.. Al final la manilla estaba mala y fue solo suerte que habrio la. Puerta tanto girar y girar... La atención del caballero y una señora nada que decir muy atentos.. La Comida buena. Pero eso si.. No vuelvo mas a esta weaaa... Pésimas...
