Hostal Karol B&B — Hotel in Punta Arenas

We stayed at the Karol Hostal in Punta Arenas and were warmly welcomed by the owner, Mary Levin. As we traveled in a group, we had various rooms at the hostal and each of us were given a key to the room and fresh towels to take a shower after a long journey south to Patagonia. It was a cold day, but the inside of the hostal was toasty warm and we were welcomed with a hot coffee and cookies in the downstairs lounge. It is always so nice to see the smiling faces of the staff and feel at home in a different country. With free WIFI and a comfortable room, we were set up for the night. We really enjoyed the time at the Hostal Karol B&B this January 3-4 while we were in Punta Arenas. We had three rooms on the upper floor and it was great to have the rooms close together for our team. We are so grateful to Mary and her team for welcoming us to the hostal and always being so kind to us to arrive anytime during the day or night as we had a busy schedule in Patagonia. Karol Hostal is a very convenient and nice place to stay in Punta Arenas. You are withing walking distance from downtown and get to experience/explore Punta Arenas beyond the main square area!||The place is clean and functional.||The hostess Maria is a very helpful and kind person.
