I need to stay at this Bridal Tea House Hotel located at No. 6 Youta Street, Yau Ma Tei again for work. It is about 2-3 minutes away from Exit C of Wenming Lane, Yau Ma Tei MTR Station. The transportation is very convenient! Nearby are the famous Tin Hau Temple on Temple Street, Canton Road Jade Market, Yau Ma Tei Police Station and Broadway Cinematheque. There are also Prince Hotel, Kowloon Pak Hui Hotel, Seaview Silka Hotel, etc. nearby. It’s very convenient to eat, drink and have fun! There are two choices online: the Black Tea House Yau Ma Tei store and the Black Tea House Wing Sing Lane store. However, they are actually the same building in two buildings. However, the Wing Sing Lane store only has 5 floors, while the one across the street has more than 20 floors. The prices are slightly different. The reception desk is in the lobby on the ground floor. The space is not large. The check-in procedure is simple. You can fill in simple information and pay a deposit of $500 to get the key card and enter the room. The room space is relatively small, but the equipment is slightly better than that of ordinary hotels! There are windows on both sides and Roman-style horizontal * curtains. The basic equipment is complete, with a small TV and electric heater hanging on the wall behind the bed.The bathroom space is also small and separated from the shower room by a sliding door to separate dry and wet areas. Basic toiletries are in the mirror box, large and small towels are available, and the hygienic condition is good! Even though the sparrow is small, it has all the internal organs. Reasonable price and high cost performance!...
Read moreThis is not the first time I stayed here but the room is extremely out of my expectations after COVID. I will never stay here again for the following reasons:
The fridge is never cold and is useless for most rooms according to the maintenence personal here.
Walls are so thin and my next door people "Bang" on the walls to express he could hear my TV sounds (volume was at 9 which is reasonable low). His actions WAS NOT appreciated; this is definitely a reflection of people not educated.
Everything is so wear and tear without maintenence . Blinds are broken .. walls are all scratched ... the room is definitely worse then a 2 stars in Cuba
Garbages was found in hallway from others room neighbor and it should be kept in their room until next day room services.
Fire Alarm sounds on my first day check in; I personally believed someone is smoking in their room even was already warned before keys are issued at reception.
Photos from Google or official website is not like that anymore. Those are taken when it firstly open. Now .. everything is old and fallen apart.
I didn't even bother taking any photos but there are newer hotels you can choose in surrounding area such as M1 Hotel. Paying a little extra is so worth it if you listen to...
Read moreIf you want a budget hotel with a good internet connection and don't mind it having worn furniture and is not like new inside this is a good choice. It's not the best looking rooms in real life but it's not terrible either. The internet connection is pretty good only 1 time in 2 weeks I had a problem with the connection. It allowed me to play Netflix and download things I needed for work etc. I was able to plug my Nvidia shield TV streaming device into the TV and I was able to watch anything I wanted with no Internet issues.
The rooms are small but so are most places in Hong Kong unless you pay double the cost. If you are OCD about cleanliness this place probably isn't for you but if you can live with well used hotel rooms this is a good option.
The hotel is centrally located and there is a very good train and bus service 2 minutes from the hotel. Lots of shops and places to get food and there are even gardens close by you.can go and sit in.
The rooms have good air-conditioning, a desk a fridge and a decent TV all be it pretty small compared to home. The plug sockets are UK 3 pin style 220v so if you are from the UK no need for your travel adaptors here. They also drive on the same side of...
