This ramen shop always have long queue, today got lucky they have no queue, so can get a seat right away. Their ramen is OK, the noodle is the thin and straight type, i belive its hakata style? The price to portion ratio is their strongest point overall, can be said good deal or worth the money. Hefty toppings with hick cut of meats. My only concern is the soup is not strong enough, ordered the double soup tonkotsu with bonito, cannot taste the bonito and the tonkotsu just felt lightly. I did noticed they have variations of soup option, shoyu, tonkotsu, miso, spicy miso or clear soup (i think its shio / salt for this). This can be tell they don't have specific soup speciality. Doesn't meant they are bad though, all in all I give them 3 stars & would comeback again to try the spicy miso soup (will add more photo and maybe the miso can change my rating :p). I recommended to come here if you like ramen.
Additional note, please try the roast pork side dish, you won't disappoint I guarantee & the wasabi that come with it, is...
Read moreOrdered the Seasoning Boiled Egg Ramen with Tonkotsu Soup. Broth wasn't thick enough and soup was on the saltier side. The egg was the only thing that met my expectations, very soft and delicious. Overall, the quality of the ramen is no where near Japan's.
I never expect any service in HK to be good especially in shop like this, but this is way beyond what I can accept. The lady at the cashier literally gave me the angry look and raised her voice at me when I told her I wanted to pay for my bill. And she wasn't looking like that when she was talking to the other people. Definitely try this shop if you love diluted tonkotsu soup and people shouting at you...
Read moreI have visited Yokozuna Ramen for 20yrs but I know it has established around 30yrs. I usually choose shoyu soup with original one and you can taste the most original ramen! Her favours never change as you can taste the same recipe forever. Ramen isn't too hard or too soft. Cha-shu (brasied pork belly) is always excellent. And my most favourite food is her ajitama (half-boiled seasoned egg). I can't find the same taste in other ramen shops. I wont visit other ramen shops twice but always to Yokozuna! Highly...
