Visited twice. Enough sellers with beautiful wares.

Twice I have returned to Sandra (and Kelvin) stall number 152.

2 major reasons. Her items are very tasteful and modernized into tasteful pieces of jewelry. Also if there are combinations that do not exist yet, she will create them for you. She also does traditional, but clearly she has noticed which sell better. Secondly, she lets you look in peace without trying to bully/coerce you in an unpleasant way. It was not surprising to me that she had a lot of Westerners in her clientèle, on her WhatsApp and returning.

Kelvin is also a cool guy and runs 2 different stalls in the jade market.

Overall, there are many stalls with beautiful pieces, very photogenic and a large assortment of trinkets for use or souvenirs.

Authenticity is unbeknownst to me, especially between the different vendors. Sandra however definitely had qualitative...

This 100+ stall market is a must visit for Hong Kong visitors. I have been coming here each Hong Kong visit for the last 40 years. Come here to see what they have to offer to get ONE piece of personal souvenir. You may end up leaving with multiple purchases for your friends and relatives. In Hong Kong, rent is the highest cost to the store operators. Not here, this market property is owned by the government and the stall owners pay very little. So, you can expect the lowest possible price, but only if they don't jack up the price to you. So, compare shop. Bargain if you feel you need to. I have been buying from the same...

The haters are friendly but pretty aggressive . It is a tug of war between "look at this" vs "no thank you". Or maybe it's just because I'm too nice and dont want to seem rude. I didn't see any certificates regarding the quality of jade (whether is has been treated, etc.) But there definitely is a mix between nepherite and jadeite and mix of qualities. Several of the stalls also have other gem stones on sale too aside from jade. Im unsure if the hawkers expect you to haggle but it is best to do your homework before going so that you are in a better position to...

I will start off this review by saying I only went to see Sandra at Booth 152, based on all of the reviews on TripAdvisor, and Iwas not disappointed. I do not enjoy the haggling and negotiating of places like this so I was happy for all of the recommendations and made a beeline for her booth. She wasn't there that day, but her sister and her brother helped me out. They gave me great prices and even more discounts based on the quantity that I bought. I sincerely appreciated The patient and friendly customer service and was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
