The Tap Seac Square is located in the St. Lazarus area of Macau and is a great place to visit. The buildings that line the square are historic Portuguese style and are lovely to see alongside the tiled pavements of the square. During holiday periods each year, the square is filled with decorations and is the location of many performances. Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival and Macau Grand Prix are particularly good times of of the year to visit if this is what you are interested in. Warmer months see a lovely flower display with lotus and other lovely flowers. This is near the northeast side of Tap Seac Square near the gallery. The Tap Seac Gallery is open year round and is the location of many free art exhibitions, many of which are very good. Visit the the Tap Seac Gallery website to see what exhibitions are ongoing during the time of your visit to Macau.

I was at the Tap Seac Square on a sunny day in April and sweat afternoon time. The light was too strong and not very good to take photos of surrounding old building from Portugal time. After I have seen several other historical old buildings in Macau for 2 days, this place became not very attractive to me. It will be better in the evening time to walk and relax there, where buildings are lit up.

Regularly having booths setup for different themes and festivities. Visited just before Chinese New Year, CNY. Annual lunar market with different local vendors, ranging from selling flowers to CNY festive home decorations. Nice way to spend an easy afternoon stroll and perhaps something lucky red for family and friends.

This was a place where people play, drinks, and celebrate most festivities. During corona virus outbreak no more case in Macau for almost 4 months. Love this place so much.... Exactly 3:45 pm when I play P. Games.
