HOTEL VILLA KARINA — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

I was looking for an economical hotel, I came across this one, anyone that's staying more than a week and paying in cash get your receipts no matter who's working at the reception desk, I got there July 12, paid through July 19, July 20th was a holiday the regular person working the front desk wasn't there so I gave the person working that day money for one more night, the next day I paid for few more days then I by the 25 I paid for 4 more days which would have made me pay through July 28, when I gave the regular person at the reception desk the money she told me that would only pay through July 27 because I didn't pay July 20th, I told her and described the person I gave the money to july 20th and even showed her my electronic ledger that I gave money to someone else July 20th she refused to believe me I asked her to look at the tape from July 20 she said the boss has to authorize that and they're not in Bogota and won't be back for a a week despite the fact that I showed her I paid for July 20th she obviously didn't believe me and I had to pay a day I already paid for, I left after that I can't believe I'm a guest and they're saying I'm lying, because the person working on July 20th didn't enter it that I paid for that day I had to pay that day again, I understand how people in this country are, once they know you're a foreigner they'll try every way to rip you off The room was very hot and uncomfortable Anyone reading this if you're staying more than a week and you're paying in cash get your receipts because they'll try...

Hice la una reservación en el hotel y dos días antes del viaje me comuniqué nuevamente para recordarles mis datos y especificar que necesitaba 3 habitaciones sencillas, les pedí que me confirman la disponibilidad de las 3 habitaciones porque quería estar segura y me respondieron afirmativamente. Cuando ya estábamos en Bogotá nos dijeron que yo no estaba registrada y que tenían solamente dos habitaciones. La verdad me parece una falta de respeto y muy mala organización...

Me pareció un hotel muy incómodo, colchón incómodo, habitación fria, no había más cobijas disponibles en el "closet" (ver foto), una "mesa de estudio" muy pequeña y para nada se adecuaba para escribir (olvide tomarle foto a la mesa), toalla muy pequeña, parecía una toalla de manos, baño sucio, no habia shampoo, en recepción no vendían toallas higiénicas. La atención al cliente muy mala. Zona peligrosa. No volvería...
