Medellín Vibes — Hotel in Medellín

I loved Medellin Vibes. Great location, great staff, great pool area, and great all around experience. Everything was maintained in a very clean state, and they were accommodating in every sense of the word. They held my bags for a day before I had to leave, they were helpful in getting around Medellin, and everything else you could hope for in a hostel. There is A/C in the bedrooms, even the dorms, and you get your own private shelf, a privacy curtain, spacious locker, and personal fan that's very powerful in your bunk. My stay here was delightful and I'd recommend it to anybody. I wish I could have stayed longer! There was a huge concert in Medellin the week I was there, so I could only stay a night or two. But I'm hoping to make it back to Medellin and will hope to stay for a longer time at Medellin Vibes. The location is also prime, it's not far too walk to the metro rail station where you can catch a bus or tram to wherever you need to go in Medellin. The pool area was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I kid you not, even though it was a bunk in a dorm room in a hostel, it was so comfortable. By far the best hostel I have ever stayed at (and even comparing it to hotels, still one of the best)!

The hostel itself has a very chill and relaxed vibe to it, it’s not a party hostel (although there’s music and drinks). The breakfast is good considering we are talking about a hostel, you can order eggs and they try to vary the breakfast items (fresh arepitas, pancakes, etc) on a daily basis. There is a kitchen that you can use as well.

The staff is amazingly welcoming and always in a good mood. They recommended a tour that was awesome too, you can tell that these guys want their guests to have genuine experiences in colombia.

We stayed in the double room with jacuzzi and it exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and spacious, wifi worked great, there was a small fridge and a little work station. We also stayed in a 5 star hotel in Medellin and the Vibes Hostel room easily beats the 5 star hotel room that we had.

The pool is big and very cold (which I like). If I have to say anything negative about the place I would probably say the pool could be a bit cleaner, but it’s nothing to worry about.

I stayed there for 5 days. I literally cannot express how impressed I was with everything!!! The staff there treats you like FAMILY! 😍 they are the nicest people everrrrr they are so sweet,kind, thoughtful. They care for your safety, they tell you they are there for you if you ever need anything. They clean your room every day, the rooms were so nice and the people I was with was so nice! The Breakfast Included eggs, bread, ham, cheese, croissants, pancakes, cereal, coffee, water, fresh squeezed orange juice, watermelon and pineapples. There may be more but I don’t eat meat so I didn’t really pay attention lol. Danny at the front desk is the sweetest human being . I really felt like I knew him for a long time. They were all funny and playful. They have 24/7 service available and it’s so safe there is always someone there to let you in and out to make sure no creeps come in.
