I recently had a massage experience at Hotel Adria that regrettably fell short of my expectations and left me feeling uncomfortable. While the ambiance and professionalism of the establishment were commendable, I encountered a distressing situation during my session that I believe merits further attention and resolution. The massage therapist assigned to me, a male practitioner from India, initially appeared friendly and knowledgeable. However, as the session progressed, his behavior took a disconcerting turn. He breached professional boundaries by explicitly asking if he could massage my breasts—an entirely inappropriate and unwelcome request. This incident immediately raised red flags and left me feeling violated and disturbed. Additionally, throughout the massage, there were numerous instances of what seemed like "accidental touches." These occurrences, whether intentional or not, compounded my discomfort and unease. It became evident that this therapist lacked the necessary sensitivity and respect for personal boundaries, making the entire experience deeply unsettling. I want to stress that such behavior is unequivocally unacceptable in any professional setting, let alone a reputable establishment like Hotel Adria. As a customer seeking relaxation and therapeutic relief, I expected a safe and respectful environment where my physical and emotional well-being would be prioritized. Regrettably, this particular encounter failed to meet those basic expectations.

Our stay at Adria Hotel has left us with anger and disappointment. The treatment we received during our stay was embarrassing. We stayed a total of 4 nights and discovered on the second night our room had bed bugs. The response from management to this situation was extremely unprofessional. We emailed, left our number and asked for the manager to speak to us - he never did, instead we had to communicate with front desk staff. At first, all we were offered were restaurant coupons for a meal as compensation. We were told by staff that “bed bugs happen and it is not our problem”, completely unacceptable. We had to fight with staff to receive at least the first 2 nights of our stay compensated, the least that should have been offered from the very beginning. My wife has close to 100 bed bug bites, has to apply medication every day, is embarrassed to attend a wedding, and cannot sleep at night. We’ve left now with ongoing concern about our luggage, and reduced quality of our vacation due to the stress of the situation. If management cares at all about this hotel, I expect a response to this review and further action taken.

Amazing hotel. Free parking. The staff was incredibly attentive and respectful. Especially a server named Anita. She went above and beyond. Best server we've come across in all of Europe. Breakfast was very good and dinner was affordable and very tasty. We unfortunately didn't get a room with a view but the view from the terrace is amazing. The old town is a 30 minute walk. But for €2 you can get a bus ticket or €12 for a taxi/Uber. Which are both preferable to walking especially when coming back to the hotel. Since it's on top of the hill. Bus stop is right outside the hotel. 1 or 5 minute walk, depending on which bus you choose. The only remark I have about this hotel is the working hours. The pool is open from 8:00 to 20:00 and the rooftop terrace is only open till 22:00. It probably has something to do with the residential area. But compared to the excellent service this was a minor inconvenience.

We recently returned from a stay and we were really impressed with the hotel.|There was five of us that travelled and we had a standard room and then a larger three bed room. The three bed room was huge, so much room and space and a lovely big terrace with stunning views over the bay.|The hotel is at the top of the hill and you can get down to the marina by steps but we always took an uber or taxi to the old town or where we needed to go and they were plenty reasonable. |The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice with your typical cooked breakfast, pastries, croatian delicacies and an array of breads and fruit, perfect for what we needed and very tasty, the pancake machine was a favourite of ours!|The views from the hotel are just stunning and when you are lounging around the pool you have such a great view of the marina and boats coming in and out. Pool itself is lovely, does have limited beds but lots more available round the indoor pool which is also very nice and has an outside terrace with lots of sunbeds and again gorgeous views!|Rooms cleaned every day. ||The only thing that would have improved our stay is just more drinks etc in the room, having a fully stocked mini bar would be lovely, their is chilled water on arrival but only one bottle for the duration of the stay and it would be great to have one every day and more drink options in room. ||Also a shoutout to Sebastian the manager, I made the mistake of leaving my purse in the hotel room and he was so quick to respond to all my messages about sending it back and collection times etc, kept me updated the whole time and I have now got it back. ||Would stay again...

For a 4 star hotel the management is definitely 1 star. We checked in at Adria hotel on June 12, 2025. The room we stayed in was infested with bed bugs. I had some spots appear throughout the day but unfortunately we didn’t realize it was bed bugs until the second night at 2am when I woke up with severe itching and we saw the bugs. The staff at reception moved our room temporarily but we had to wait for the manager to come in the next day to sort things out. We were out all day and were not able to speak with management so we left our phone number and email address for them to contact us. No one messaged us and when we got back to the hotel the staff gave us 2 dinner vouchers… embarrassing to think we were sleeping with bed bugs for 2 nights and that’s all the manager could offer us. We told the staff multiple times that the manager can talk to us directly (even after we reached out first through email) and not once did they speak with us. We had to argue with the manager through the staff to get any kind of compensation. I spent my entire vacation visiting pharmacies, taking medication, and applying steroid creams multiple times a day. Washing all my clothes and vacuuming my luggage. Not only physical, but the mental exhaustion of checking all my things daily in hopes that I didn’t pick up any bed bugs with me. We’re very unhappy with the response from the hotel, and quite honestly the compensation still wasn’t enough for what we’ve endured. It could have been handled better...

Don’t book this place until you read this. : After arriving at the hotel at 10:30 AM, we were told our room would be ready by 2 PM. During that time, not a single member of the front desk staff made any effort to assist us, provide updates, or even acknowledge our presence. Instead, they chose to ignore us outright, play games, and exhibit a level of indifference toward guests that would be shameful in the operation of a public toilet—let alone a functioning hotel.

When my boyfriend reasonably asked the staff to call the partner company—the third-party provider responsible for facilitating our Agoda reservation—tge front desk manager not only refused but responded with unprovoked verbal abuse and then actively escalated the situation toward physical confrontation. That behavior was outrageous, dangerous, and disgusting.

To make matters worse, the supervisor—when we returned to try to resolve things—acted like a complete jerk, failing to take any responsibility, and instead made the situation even more infuriating with his smug incompetence and dismissive attitude.

Let’s be perfectly clear: their claim that they do not work with Agoda is a blatant lie and complete bullshit. We all know your hotel uses third-party platforms and partner companies to fill rooms. This attempt to weasel out of accountability is both dishonest and pathetic.

The staff’s behavior was so appalling, so dehumanizing, that it irreparably damaged our entire stay in this country. Book here at...
