I initially booked in to stay here for two nights but ended booking two more nights. If you're looking for a quiet peaceful and relaxing place then I recommend this place as it's about 45 minutes walk to the old town. The place is situated quite high like most places in Dubrovnik so don't let that put you off. If you're coming from the old town I strongly recommend you to either get a taxi or the Number 3 bus but make sure you tell the driver you want to get off at Hotel Adria and not the street name. As you could end up climbing 450 steps not ideal if you have heavy suitcases. ||The place itself is clean, it has a shared bathroom but I was fortunate that nobody else stayed the first 3 nights, (two people did stay the fourth night and left the bathroom in a bit of a mess). It's got all the facilities one needs. I stayed over Easter, I had a lovely surprise by given a huge Easter Breakfast (see photo) and as there was nothing opened they even gave me dinner - all free of charge! Wifi is good. One of the rooms has no electric sockets which I thought it was odd so I moved over to the other rooms. The views from are amazing (see photo). ||The people are all very friendly, I even managed to do my laundry before I left and they had no problems with that. ||They were happy with me as they asked me to come back - would I stay there again? Definitely yes if I want something quiet...
Read moreI cannot forget about the mess and destroyed room I lived in with molds on the walls and smell of mold everywhere in the whole building. Also, the balcony's door is broken and the cables coming from the above are not very comfortable for being used. Unfortunately, the worst is the lack of safety in your place and the electricity in the sink in the water... my boyfriend got electricity shock for 2 times. I appreciate your advice about not using this kitchen anymore but it's not the solution. In my opinion, a professional electrician should see it and fix it as it's dangerous for everybody. Electricity and water are not the best "couple" and something bad can happen. Also, the rooms and the whole building need...
Read moreA lovely family run guest house with a beautiful view. Stayed 6 nights with my boyfriend and we have no complaints. Obviously, you’re not booking a 5 star hotel so it has its quirks but overall amazing experience. Family pets are welcoming and love attention. Barbara and her family are so friendly and so accommodating, she even cooked us a beautiful 3 course fish dinner with unlimited drinks for a fraction of what you would’ve paid in a restaurant. (By far the best food we had eaten all week!). Be mindful when booking as it’s located on a mountain so it is a bit of a climb, 408 stairs we counted! We will be returning in...
