Apartman LukaDora — Hotel in Grad Pula

Dora apartment - The good: It's close to everything and it's nicely furnished.

The bad: It's on the 4th floor (under the roof) with no elevator and the stairs are so smooth that they are unsafe. One of my friends fell while carrying luggage.

The entire apartment is under a heavily slanted roof. When I say entire... I MEAN EVEN THE SHOWER IS UNDER A SLANT. I hit my head SO many times. Some tiny windows are only reachale if you crawl to them. Even the floor is slanted.

There is 0 airflow and it's constantly boiling even with the windows open all night. The AC could not cool it down. If you want light (through the tiny skylight windows) be ready to boil alive.

The showerhead is so bad it felt like I was standing in a drizzel waiting to be washed.

The wifi did work but the connection was awful.

The neighbours are very rude and unpleasant people and said that "We should go back where we came from" even though we were quiet and kept to ourselves.

We booked and paid for one night's accommodation in advance. However, the week before the trip, one of our friends had to undergo an emergency operation in hospital, so we were unable to travel. At the host's suggestion, we cancelled the booking and were offered a refund if someone else booked the accommodation in the event of cancellation. Another group booked the accommodation for the same date, but we were unable to contact the owner again afterwards, and of course he did not refund the cost. It is unacceptable that he took advantage of an urgent hospital situation to make a profit. I would NOT recommend booking with such an owner to anyone. He has failed as a...

Absolutely stunning apartment that was renovated last year. The building dates back to the 900s (I believe that is what the owner stated) and is centrally located. There's AC, large bathroom, washing machine, small kitchen and large TVs in be the bedroom and living room. Because the apartment is located on the top floor, the ceiling is slightly low in some areas (see pictures). The landlord was a gem! He helped us with our luggage, found us a spot for free parking and even recommended a few good restaurants! When I come back to Pula, I will definitely be staying...
