I used to live in this hostel for 10 months while studying at the university, so be warned - this review might be subjective and biased, yet all the people whom I've met here (and I met a lot of them) can vouch for everything I say here. Where can I even start? I've had so many things happen to me here, and I've met people from every walk of life from every inhabitable continent, there's simply too much that happened here it would take a book (which I'll probably write one day) to describe all of the amazing experiences I've had. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime. As for the hostel itself, it's situated in the very center of Pula, has spacious rooms, the biggest lobby out of all the hostels I've ever been to (which is also a kitchen) and the staff is comprised of young and friendly people who are always down to (party) help you with whatever you need. Instead of writing more, I'll just post a few of my own personal photos below....
Read moreGreat hostel! Very friendly and helpful Staff. great location -especially if you're in Pula for Monteparadiso fest or other concerts taking place at Karlo Rojc (10 minute walk away). Also it is right next to the ancient Roman arch and other important historical hotspots. Very cheap. It was clean as well. The beds were comfortable. There are lockers (free of charge) right next to the beds. The bedrooms have AC available. The kitchen is equipped very well - stove, kettle, microwave, toaster. You can rent hairdryers for free at the reception desk - no need to pack one. They also have a laundry service for a few euros, I don't remember how much because I didn't need it. There is a bike rental Service as well and a bike rack at the entrance to stare your bike. I think I will be returning to Pula next year for the Monteparadiso festival and I will most probably stay at this hostel again....
Read moreI usually don't stay in the hostels, but if most of the hostels would be like this one, I would always do. I stayed here during Salsa Istriana festival for 3 days and I absolutely loved it - the place is clean, brand new, rooms are good designed and you have a nice space and peace to sleep although there is more people in the room (special curtains). The kitchen and hanging out area is very nice and equiped (they have salt, oil, vinegr...). And what is the most important - the owners are absolute legends. The first day they made me coffee and we hanged out a bit, they took care of us and our feet when we destroyed them during the dances (went to buy us special cream and desinfector)....they took care of us, joking a lot. Well the hospitality was super, I felt very welcomed and as a one big happy family. Recommend (Just leave us a room during the dance festivals cause we will return...
