I can’t praise this restaurant enough, the staff, the food, the location and the price are all fantastic. We stumbled upon it during the final night of our holiday in Croatia, while browsing menus and just got a good feeling straight away. The tables are beautifully laid in a pretty alley in Pula old town. The menu is simple and sticks to the best of dishes in this region of Croatia. We chose the Mullet and found it to be fresh and delicious. The waiter gave us the most incredible service we had received during our entire time in the country. He was friendly, extremely attentive and had a brilliant sense of humour. When we got back to our hotel, my partner thought she has left her AirPods on the table. We phoned the restaurant to check but they didn’t have them. After finding them, we phoned back to tell them, and the same waiter who served us had been searching everywhere for them and was so pleased to know we hadn’t lost them. I can not recommend this restaurant more! It’s the perfect place for a traditional, well priced, tasty meal with...
Read morePerfect hidden restaurant with very good prices for the sea food. We found it on our way to another restaurant which was rated with 5* but when we saw the waiter there we turned out and tried this Romantic Alley and it was the best decission! They have a daily menu (you can choose either fish menu or meat menu: soup, main course and desert). We had fish menu - they are offering fried sea food with french fries but we asked if it’s possible to make it grilled and with salad and there was no problem with that at all. Also we wanted a beer but draft, first we ordered Karlovačko but it was only in a bottle and the waitress was also so kind and told us she will bring us draft beer - it wasn ´t a problem either!😍 Overall we paid (for 2 menus,2 draft beers and 2 coffees with milk) almost 60€ what is a perfect price nowadays in Croatia. The food and the service was...
Read moreI'll be honest, the food isn't special, but definitely very tasty. The main reason I'm giving 5 stars is because we had only just arrived after our plane ride, and it was one of the only places still happily welcoming us for food past 11pm. The waiter was ridiculously friendly, but not in an obnoxious way, just a super chill nice guy. I asked if I could find somewhere to buy cigarettes nearby whilst we waited for our food, and he asked what I smoked and told me to wait as he needed some himself. Afterwards he almost forgot to charge...
