We booked the hotel as it was the closest available to Poljud stadium at desired dates. Hotel is easy to find, and the parking of the hotel as well, good orientation is provided. Hotel looks amazing, even better than on photos. Check in was very fast, with not too many details, but again, we got the infos needed. I would preffer more infos about where we were and how to get around as it was my first proper visit to Split. But that is my personal preference. Lady that checked us in was very polite, professional and kind. We got a comfort room on the first floor, by the view, I think it was just above the lobby area. Room was PERFECTION _ cloudly soft carpet, white walls, huuuuge comfy bed with touch of blue details and a lot of pillows. AC is working perfectly, and can be managed with ease. Minibar nicely hidden. TV offers only basic channels, but enough for me. Bathroom modern, spotlesly clean, with Ritual cosmetics (soap, losion, hair shampoo and conditioner). We were provided with bathrobes and slippers as well, but unfortunately-we didn't have time to explore the wellness center (nice reason to come back). We were able to walk to the stadium, which saved us a lot of hassell about parking, it was a nice 10-15min walk. |A kind gentleman was working the night when we came back from the match, and made me an extra key for the room when I went to pick up food delivery (room service works during the day). Breakfast are is nice, buffet style, not too big (space) but there is something for everyone, and they offer omelettes as well - do try those, thank me later. Various choice of sweet stuff, cakes, croassaints, fruits... Girl working the breakfast is also very polite and effective.|Housekeeping is doing an amazing job keeping the hotel and rooms clean. Lady who we met on the hallway was always polite and smiling.|The guy who checked us out was great, very talkative, full of infos, kind and professional, asked about our stay, where we came from, how was the match... (hi from Dubrovnik from fellow receptionist). I hope sincerely to find the time to visit Split again-this hotel will deff be our first choice of accomodation for our next visit. Keep up...
Read moreThis hotel should NOT be in the Hospitality business as the management are a bunch of arrogant con artists who continually like to belittle and insult guests and take their money and provide ZERO SERVICE , if you don't believe me just read their reply to my review of my experience at this joke of a hotel! I'm actually glad I didn't stay there now, who would want to stay in a place thats so vile and evil. Run far away from this hotel. A nearby hotel booking expert of 30 years called your hotel to verify if you had a dog policy prior to helping us book but no one picked up the phone , “MAYA “ who was working at your front desk was apparently not working the phone line , you need fix your UNDERSTAFFED ESTABLISHMENT if you plan to take calls. REGARDLESS people who have SERVICE ANIMALS have rights and are protected , under the law , upon checking in, I did not come into the hotel with ANY DOG or dogs , so it was impossible for you to know what size they were. And you were not even there! And what did the size matter to you if you had a policy against service animals which you don’t ? You contradict your self yet again and are inconsistent , but that’s understandable considering you like to keep money from unknowing tourists it must be your way of a warm welcome to your country . (WARNING TO ANYONE WHO IS REFUSED A STAY , have the hotel cancel or cancel the booking right away or else they will lie and say you stayed when you didn’t .) Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had to deal with . The management are condescending thieves, beware don’t stay here unless you want to get robbed blind. They refused to let me stay ( because they don’t allow dogs ) despite it was a service dog and still kept my money of over $240 for a 1 night stay which was booked only a few minutes prior and discriminated against me . They had the opportunity to do the right thing and give me back my money since they were not allowing me to stay but decided not to! Proof that this hotel should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS . ...
Read moreThe hotel was modest but fine. |The service was lacking because there was only one person working the entire hotel for each shift and he really tried his best.|When we arrived the very nice young man at front desk checked us in. When we asked if the bar in the next room was open he said for us to order our drink with him at front desk and go to the bar.|To our surprise the same man was also the bartender but he did not know anything about making drinks but tried to assist us. The guests had to teach him how to make any drinks but it was difficult because he did not know was tonic water was or soda water or seltzer was and could not find the vodka. |My friend that wanted a vodka tonic wound up getting Tequila with orange Fanta soda which she did not drink because it was terrible. I understand a real bartender arrived later on. ||We went to our room and could not get the TV on . We called maintenance and guess who showed up? The same young man from front desk and bar. He knew nothing about how to Trun TV on but he did try to help. ||I want to congratulate the young man that was there on the 3PM to 11PM shift (I wish I knew his name) because he was very polite and apologetic through it all and really tried to help with the best of his ability.||If it was not for service I would stay...
