House Sandra — Hotel in Grad Split

We started and ended our vacation here at House Sandra. Marko was responsive in our communications before and during our stay. We opted to have him pick us up after our long travel day, and he was friendly and helpful, giving us tips and lots of info. Great host – as well as his father, who met us on our 2nd stay.||The upstairs suite was clean, bright, and spacious, and had everything we needed. It was nice to have a sofa and an area to fix coffee or snacks (dishes, utensils, tea kettle, coffee/tea provided). On our 2nd visit, only a small guest room was available on the ground floor. We could hear cars/people outside, as the window is right by the driveway, or sometimes the guests above, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. I was impressed with how much use they made in the smaller space – you still had a desk, coffee/tea service, dishes/utensils tucked in a drawer, etc. ||We’d stay here again, as the hosts were great to work with, and the location of the property is very convenient. You can walk to the harbor to pick up a ferry, go to the stop to take the airport bus, head over to Diocletian’s Palace and...

I would give this place six stars, if I could. Even though I carefully chose House Sandra based on reviews and photos, they still far exceeded my expectations.

My room was very spacious, and nicely appointed. The bed was so comfy! The lighting and décor were very classy. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled.

The location is unbeatable: close to the local attractions, close to local bus station to go visit Trogir, and close to the pazar. More importantly, it’s also a short walk to the bus and ferry station, which made it ideal for my arrival and departure to Split, as well as for my island adventures. It was very easy to find.

The owner was gracious when my bus was delayed and about letting me store my luggage after checkout time.

The accommodation is located in central Split and about a 10min walk from the main bus station, waterfront and major sites of interest. There was easy communication with Marko prior to my arrival. There is also the offer of having a pick-up from the airport at a reasonable fee, if required. |I was welcomed on arrival and found my self-contained room to be clean, tastefully decorated and with the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay as advertised. The family is available to assist when needed. |The accommodation and old town neighbourhood is beautiful with intriguing alleys and original brick-walled buildings. Despite being close to the busy city centre, the surrounding area is quiet. |I enjoyed my stay at House Sandra and look forward to visiting again. Thank you...
