Nirvana Rooms — Hotel in Grad Split

Davor and Danijela, the owners of the apartments, are the nicest people you could find. We arrived early and they offered us to wait in their kitchen with air conditioning and cold water until the room was ready. They also provided coffee capsules for various days, as well as offered to do out laundry for free because we stayed for a full week (Hvala!). The room was ok, although not very big for two large suitcases, but everything was super clean, the air conditioning and the TV worked perfectly, and the shower, even if small, had good water pressure. The Nespresso machine in the room was a nice little touch and the wi-fi was pretty decent. On the downside, the noise from the adjacent doors very early in the morning and from upstairs woke us up a couple times. And also the fact that we would have loved a double bed and we got the green room with 2 little beds, one of them against the wall with no bedside table, nor power plugs for your phone. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Really appreciated the complimentary coffee capsules and shower gel. It was really cool being able to connect our phones to the TV and stream our own content. And last but not least, they kept our luggage safe for a few hours after check out completely free of charge. Location wise, Nirvana rooms is a short walking distance from Old Town Split and from the Port and the central bus station, which was super convenient to take buses and ferry boats to visit different places. Yet, it was far removed from bars, restaurants and noisy streets, so I would recommend it 100% -would stay there again myself 😊

Booked two nights through LoveHolidays, but when I contacted the hotel to confirm the booking they denied that I had a booking. I made a screen shot of the booking confirmation and they offered me a room without a balcony on the first night and then I could move to a room with balcony that I had booked or a different hotel. I chose to stay at the Nirvana. Ivna who I had been in contact with offered me 12Euro in compensation and eventually said they had found the reservation in the mail but not in the "system". That was not a good start. However, meeting Ivna who manages the rooms was good and she was very friendly. ||Both rooms were clean with good sized bathrooms. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Tea and coffee provided. It is in a great location, not far from bus station and old Split. The second bedroom with the balcony was really nice. I would recommend getting a balcony for the additional money.||The only thing I didn't like (which is why I dropped a star) is the loads of tacky plastic flowers in the room. They are unnecessary, a dust collector and down grades the brand. ...

This was the second time for us to stay at the Nirvana Rooms. We had previously stayed there 3 years ago & had been happy with our stay then so it made sense to stay there again after travelling from Mostar to Split before our return flight home.||||We had a nice clean, bright room. Nice bathroom & shower. There was no fridge in the room but you did have use of a fridge in the kitchen where you could make yourself a cup of tea/coffee or even a meal if you wanted to. ||||The Nirvana Rooms are close to the old town & Diocletian's palace, bus & train stations & the port. The only draw back is that the rooms are on the second floor & there is no lift. It wasn't a problem for us but it wouldn't be easy going with...
