The ground floor is initially very interesting, giving lots of info about the palace and the people that lived there and were involved with its history, with a few artifacts (including one of the sphinx's) that are really fascinating to learn about.
From there on up, things are a different story. There is a severe lack of English material accompanying most of the exhibit items, which wouldn't be so bad if they were sectioned, or organised, at all. The exhibits are pretty randomly placed, even seeming like a pile of furniture left in the corner of the room rather than a historical item. One smaller room off to the side had hardly any light, a strange, two floor array of items with no descriptions whatsoever... Pretty disappointing. Go on a walking tour if you'd like to know...

There a lot of artefacts but for the vast majority their description is in Croatian.
Also most panels are only in Croatian or English.
