I went to this place with my wife and another couple for a light meal and a drink. The evening started badly when a very nervous waiter dropped the drinks all over my friend's wife. The manager apologized and made light of the incident. We saw several items falling on the floor by other waiters. Clearly while some waiters showed experience others are not ready to serve. Empty used drink glasses were put on a small table near us. A cat simply got on the table and started licking the glasses and dropping one on the floor and breaking it in the process. No one paid any attention to this. The food was average. We paid 25 euro per person for a plate of cheese and cold cuts, three alcoholic drinks and one zero alcohol beer. A bit pricy. The facility and the beach view are all the good thing here. When an incident like the one we had happens, the restaurants try to make up for it in some way. We received nothing, no discount, no free peace of cake, nothing. Only wet and alcohol smelling clothes. Clearly the restaurant is not interested in making sure their customers leave with a good feeling. We will not be visiting this place any time soon.

Our brunch experience at Petite Plage Limassol was disappointing. We were 4 people and the brunch is served until 11:30 however our food was served at 11:45. When the food was served, we were surprised by how small the portions were. We wanted to order more, but the waitress said we could only get items from the kids' menu or burgers. She didn't even check with the kitchen. Plus, there wasn't a manager around to help sort things out. It's hard to enjoy brunch when you stay hungry and can't order more. After driving 45 minutes to get there, we were disappointed. After that, they even asked for a tip at the end. I had high hopes for this place and even planned to visit their beach and have lunch there, but now I'm not sure anymore. There are plenty of other restaurants in Limassol that treat their customers better.

The beach restaurant is very new and nicely built. Despite this, a parking space is very difficult to get. We hadn't reserved but got a nice table anyway. The service was fast! We ordered a bottle of mineral water and a bottle of Ktima Alpha, Sauvignon Blanc wine. The drinks came quickly but could have been a little colder. Unfortunately, the wine was not handed in later. As a starter we had GRILLED JUMBO PRAWNS, these were too Little seasoned for our taste. Garlic was completely missing. For mains we had IBERICO PORK and Salmon Tartare both dishes were very good. All in all one can say for the fact that it is relatively new a good restaurant. It should be noted that the music wasn't too loud, which is very positive. You can have a conversation without having to yell!

One of the few restaurants in Limassol with a playground for kids—making life a bit easier for parents. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and here’s why:

  1. Hygiene Issues and Unprofessional Handling During our second visit, my wife found a dead baby cockroach in her lentil salad. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, the waiter took the plate and returned shortly after, suggesting the insect may have “just landed” on my salad while I was eating. Frankly, it’s hard to believe a dead cockroach could land mid-meal and somehow bury itself deep within the lentils.

Where I come from, here’s how such a serious issue is typically handled: • The staff offers a sincere apology. • The plate is immediately replaced with a fresh one—on the house. • A complimentary dessert or drink is usually offered as a goodwill gesture. • Within a day or two, the restaurant follows up with a call to apologize again and extend an invitation for a return visit with a small complimentary offering.

  1. Poor Service and Disregard for Guests Despite the above, we decided to give the restaurant another chance while my parents in law were visiting, mainly because of the convenient location by the sea and the kid-friendly environment.

Upon arrival, we asked if a table for seven could be arranged. There weren’t any available that fit our group, and the staff member informed us that we’d either need to split up or squeeze into a table meant for four—according to management policy. When I requested to speak to the manager in hopes of finding a reasonable solution, the manager refused to speak with him and instructed the staff to tell us: “Let them leave if they don’t like the rules.”

I was genuinely shocked. For a place in the hospitality business, this was anything but hospitable. It was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. If you’re going to run a restaurant, at the very least, learn the fundamentals of customer service.

In the end, we squeezed into the small table to avoid making a scene in front of my in-laws, but the experience was far from pleasant. Everyone was visibly uncomfortable, and the tension lingered throughout the meal.

P.S. Let’s not even get started on the unjustifiably overpriced menu.

Well done, La Petit Plage—you’ve officially earned the award for worst service in Limassol.

Avoid this place! It’s...

The restaurant has a lot of potential but falls short in several key areas. The location is stunning, right by the seaside, with a modern and cozy design that creates a great atmosphere. However, the food was disappointing and highly overpriced. Most dishes felt overcomplicated, and the prices simply didn't match the quality.

For instance, the oysters were served with the wrong sauce. A simple combination of vinegar, onion, and Tabasco would have done the job, but the sauce provided overwhelmed the oysters, and the small sauce bottles were impractical. Even the oyster quality wasn’t great, especially for the high price. Additionally, there’s only one option for ceviche—why not broaden the menu to offer varieties like tuna, salmon, or mussels, paired with different sauces? A wider selection would make the dining experience much more appealing.

The wine list is also limited. Adding something simple like Sauvignon Blanc could improve the selection.

On the positive side, the design is fantastic, and having private parking is a big advantage. I strongly recommend broadening and simplifying the menu while offering more approachable options. The restaurant has so much potential, and with a few changes, I believe it could become much more popular. There's a nearby restaurant that offers great food at half the price and is always full—simplifying and expanding the menu here could really help bring in...

I’m writing to share some feedback following an upsetting experience I had today. Over the past six months, my family and I have been regular visitors to your restaurant and playground. We’ve always appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that it’s a place where both children and adults can enjoy themselves.

Today, however, while passing by the outdoor area (not as a customer at that moment), I had my baby with me and two older children walking from the playground. One of your waiters was rushing through with a tray of drinks and came extremely close to stepping on my baby. Instead of offering an apology, he shouted at me — “Watch out your kid!” — in a sharp and unkind tone.

As a mother, I was shocked by both the lack of awareness and the response. It left me feeling shaken and unwelcome in a place we’ve grown to enjoy. While accidents can happen, I believe this kind of situation — especially near a playground — calls for more care and consideration from staff.

As someone who also understands how challenging it is to run a busy restaurant, I’m sharing this not just as a concerned parent but as someone who hopes this feedback helps improve communication and safety in your team. A little more training or awareness in these moments could make a...
