It's difficult to know where to start my review of the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel, lets just say we had the best time here. From our arrival until our departure 11 days later, we felt like we were treated like royalty by the staff. Too many to mention individually, every single staff member we encountered was polite, helpful, chatty, smiley, funny and just all round pleasant. During one cocktail reception in main bar, we were fortunate to speak at length with the manager. Such a nice down to earth bloke who has obvious pride in giving his customers the best experience. And the hotel did just that.

The hotel appears big on the outside, but the cleverly crafted spaces makes this seem cosy on the inside. The bar area was a particular favourite of ours, with always someone to engage and have a good chat with. The rooms are generous and well appointed. Other reviews point out that the furniture is somewhat dated, but the rooms are clean, spacious and airy, the bathrooms equally as spacious, modern, clean and good showers. I'd recommend getting a room with a sea view, such a delight to wake up to every day.

The main restaurant is a help yourself buffet style affair. Entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted, asked where we wanted to be seated (always outside for us next to the pool) and then greeted again by a waiter who swiftly took our drinks order. The selection of choices on offer is incredible, the salad bars, hot food counters, dessert bar, all adorned with fresh and delicious food. Every night had a theme, but if you didn't fancy anything from the theme, there was always plenty of other things to try.

Two other restaurants on offer were the Asian fusion experience, and the burger restaurant. Both gave great individual experiences and both served delicious food. Booking is recommended on arrival at the hotel, as they're very popular.

Evening entertainment was good and 'entertaining'. Kids disco, bingo and an act of some sort was usually the order of the evening. We saw some great acts during our time there, the singer/comedian, the fire eater and the Cypriot dancers all very memorable. The animation team work hard to keep everyone entertained, and their efforts certainly paid off when we were there. In terms of space of outside, there are plenty of sunbeds in three distinct spaces, the quiet area next to the big pool, the lawned area towards the beach and the more active pool area, where all the pool sports and activities take place, so plenty of choice of spaces for everyone. Staff regularly patrolled all areas taking drinks orders (beers, cocktails, teas and coffees!).

The nearby beach is small and has a rocky approach. The water was freezing when we were there (late April) so we never ventured in above our knees lol. If we needed refreshing, the pool hit the spot.

Such was our experience here, we plan to return next year, and we never return to the same hotel. Be prepared to make friends here ๐Ÿ˜, Highly...

For anyone reading this review I completed quite a lengthy and informative review back in July 2025. As the title states this was our second stay this year. Please don't believe the negative reviews as you just cannot please some people these days.| |The hotel closes at the end of October for a complete refurbishment on all the areas of the hotel you would want to see upgraded and then in 2026-2027 closed season the second phase takes place which is the addition of a water park and extra pools.| |You will not find a better place to stay in Paphos that delivers the customer service and food standards and choice that this hotel delivers and keeps delivering. The management team Christakis and Philip are always around ready to help, advise and make sure that you feel valued as a guest.|Elena and the front of house team again set such a high bar in terms of the customer service experience they offered. All I can say is "Thank You ".| |Alex who is the beverage manager and looks after all the bars, again works hard. Mary, Sawy, David, Mahmoud and Youssef and the rest of team around the adult/quieter pool cannot look after you enough. They work hard in the heat and make sure you never go without a drink. Alex you should be proud of them.!!.| |The head chef is out on every serving making sure food is replenished and HOT.!! and that his standards are met through his kitchen team that work so hard I can assure you.|The restaurant staff again working away to make sure every sitting for meal times is a positive and pleasant experience.| |Our room was kept clean throughout the week and again the room technicians work hard to ensure your comfort is met and up to the standards that you would like to see and feel whilst you are a guest.| |Entertainment team run a good program. water volley ball , darts , shuffle board, table tennis, Archery etc. Yanis mainly did French Boules.!! Big game every morning and good turnout. Rowland ( Sebastian) again covering many activities. Great work.!!| |Maintenance Team. You don't see this team a lot but they are there working away and making sure the hotel runs and operates. Again a credit to the hotel.| |The hotel and it staff just gets things right in terms of how valued you feel as they know that the money you have paid to travel and stay has been achieved through hard work and they appreciate that and they want you to have the best experience possible whilst you are a guest.| |I think a lot people including myself are waiting to see the results of the refurbishment and as I stated back in July, the refurb should take away any negative feedback towards the hotel.| |We had another amazing week that was made even better by the returning guests that were already staying there and the laughs and chats that were had across the week.| |Please keep up the hard work everyone without you the hotel would be a different place.| |Well done...

I stayed at the hotel in late July with my two sons (a child and a teenager) on an all-inclusive package. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the hotel provides a solid base for a relaxed family vacation.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Rooms We had a room with a beautiful sea view. The size was decent for three, though it felt more suitable for two adults. The bathroom was a bit cramped, and while the air conditioning worked, it was noisy when dealing with high heat. Personally, I found the bed uncomfortable, and the type of bedding could use improvement. Also, there was no option to separate the double bed โ€“ which would have been helpful. Room cleaning was done daily, but sometimes quite late in the day, which didnโ€™t always match our schedule.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food Breakfast was decent and met expectations. Lunch and dinner exceeded them โ€“ with a good variety of meat, chicken, and fish dishes, all well-prepared and flavorful. The all-inclusive plan proved very convenient with kids, especially when they wanted to grab a snack between meals. The restaurant staff were kind, attentive, and handled requests well even during peak times.

๐Ÿ–๏ธ Pools and Beach The hotel has two outdoor pools โ€“ one includes a small childrenโ€™s area with slides โ€“ and one indoor pool. There were always enough lounge chairs at the pools. The beach is beautiful and directly accessible from the hotel. Just note that there are some rocks in and around the water, which can make it slightly tricky to walk or swim. That said, the sea was refreshingly cool, the pool water was warm โ€“ and we really enjoyed that contrast.

๐Ÿ™Œ Service Service throughout the stay was excellent. Every request was met with attention and a solution โ€“ even when I needed help contacting the airport transfer company. The lobby staff were also great โ€“ especially in the evenings with live music, offering table-side drink service that created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

๐Ÿ“ Bottom line This is a very good 4-star hotel โ€“ Iโ€™d rate it 95 out of 100. Still, thereโ€™s room for small improvements: more comfortable beds, better bedding, and modernizing the key system (they still use physical keys instead of key cards โ€“ a small but noticeable detail). I hope hotel management considers this feedback, especially if itโ€™s echoed by...

We visited the louis imperial last week of September! We didnt know a lot about this hotel as it was booked for us by relatives who were supposed to be holidaying with us! Sadly due to ill health they had to cancell! We knew the area well as we had stayed at the olympic lagoon for a wedding 3 years ago! We were greeted by the manager and staff and enjoyed a glass or two of fizz before going to our room! The room was spacious and had a lovely ocean view plus a good view of the Quiet pool (anyone under 14 needed an adult with them) Very clean all round and a lovely bathroom! The bed is a super king and very confortable! A fridge with soft drinks and water is provided as is a room safe( this has a small daily charge) A wall tv is provided . Although our room was next to the lifts they were not noisey! The sunbeds and brollies are plentifull and there is no rush to get your towel down too early! If you like a bit of peace the Quiet Pool is the place to be! Waiter service is superb ! There are games (boule/archery/shuffle board/darts/ ad aqua aerobics every day , The watersport centre on the beach is owned by the one and only Stavros Flatly and he is there most days ! A friendly guy! The hotel is fully inclusive only for uk guests And you can eat all day if you wish! The bars close at 12 midnight and the evening entertainment stops at 11 pm! I resrve judgment on the show artists! The meals were reasonable and the choice of dishes plentifull! Our only gripe was that a lot of dishes were bordering on cold and some dishes were not renewed when empty! Again the service was great! We met a lot of extremely friendly people at this hotel and 4 new friends who we will stay in contact with! Great value for money ! Some couples have been coming to the louis imperial for 16 years (covid allowing) and i understand why! It is a great holiday place! a bit smaller than most ,a bit tired in places, generally the guests were pretty much retirees on the dates we were here but overall a great atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay! We will return to this hotel in 2026 as we are already booked elsewhere next year! Only 20 mins from paphos airport! Well done the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel!!๐Ÿ˜Ž
