To anyone reading - you may see a few posts on Facebook/tripadvisor/google about the party of 65… this was my party. I was the organiser and I am the one the owner of this restaurant was incredibly rude and not far short of abhorrent towards!
We were in Paphos for our wedding, while we were there my Mam was 60 and I pre-booked at Suite 48 following recommendations online. It was nothing short of a disaster.
I have been accused of lying and had all claims dismissed, and the owner (who eventually decided to show himself from the back of the restaurant to come out and speak to me after I made multiple complaints to the extremely stressed staff) has had the audacity to try and refute reviews left by members of our party.
The food, once it came, was excellent. The setting is beautiful. The service - abysmal is not strong enough a word.
We arrived just prior to our booking slot at 7pm, some members of our party had not had a crumb of food on their table by 9:10pm and for most even the drinks took one hour to arrive. The owner simply said “I do not accept your claims”, fortunately the clock does not lie - and nor do the reviews left by the other members of our party.
I feel extremely sorry for the poor waitress who took the brunt of this shambles from both me, and him by the sound of it. He stood in the restaurant shouting at her and she was in tears by the end of the fiasco. Given this was a bill which ran into multiple thousands of euros, you’d expect better. Attitude reflects leadership and he is clearly a charlatan within the customer service world.
Overall, a disgrace. Zac, you are a disgusting...
Read moreSuite 48 is in a beautiful location, surrounded by lots of green grass, looking over the beach and sea. My boyfriend and I stopped there yesterday, for a lazy Sunday brunch on the way back to Limassol. We both had the Wall Street breakfast - in plain English, eggs benedict. You can swap the bacon out for smoked salmon for extra €2, which I've just realised is actually missing from our bill... Anyway the food was good, and I would eat there again. Minus points for the following reasons PLASTIC STRAWS. Like, seriously? The waiter who served us was a friendly guy, but one other waiter we spoke with was not at all welcoming and to be honest, looked like he really didn't want to be there The whole experience was dampened by constant screaming children at a table next to us. I would suggest them to seat couples/adults in a different area to families with young children. Nobody wants to go for a relaxed brunch and have your conversation drowned out by kids yelling and shouting, running around your table...
Read moreAlthough it’s a really good place with a wornderful view, the management instructed the stuff to follow a weird practice; to not accept bookings for two people. They avoided and lied us at least twice that they were not doing reservesions. When we got there we realized that it’s because we were only two people and they avoid to do for two. In addition, drinks and food are divided in two parts. The drinks are in front in the garden with the view, while the food is at the back of the garden, where the view is limited to none. You can’t choose were to sit even if the whole place is empty.. that was really frustrating too!
I do get that some places prefer to do reservations for a number of people and above. What I don’t appreciate is the lies ahead, rude avoidance and unwelcomeness! For these last reasons I won’t recommend the place at all.. That was a really frustrating experience with weird...
