We stayed at Pandream hotel apartments for 7 nights - we had 2 apartments and we stayed in the “deluxe” apartments. |A short 20 minute drive from Pafos airport. We have our own hire car and were able to use the car park for the duration. ||Open kitchen / living room, with a balcony. TV, WiFi, kitchen had a cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, and your basic amenities to cook with. Also aircon worked well in this area. ||Bedroom again very spacious, bed was comfy, however the pillows were lumpy and clearly very old. Aircon worked well in the bedroom. Very little wardrobe space, only one small section, which also contained the free safe to be used. No other real storage space I.e drawers to put your stuff away ( not a massive issue as I don’t tend to unpack everything. This room also had another balcony to go out onto. No full length mirror throughout the room though.||Bathroom - smallest of the areas, shower was clean, good power to the water pressure. Our sink had a sulphur smell from the drain but I just bought some drain cleaning stuff from the shop which worked a treat. |It had shaver / toothbrush plugs and also a good hair dryer. Came with shampoo and shower gel which smelt loverly, I never use the provided toiletries so couldn’t say if they were nice to use. As this was the “deluxe” room it also came with bathrobes and slippers to use. ||The room had a free bottle of cava as a welcome gift, and we were given “welcome drink” vouchers which you could have a beer / wine or soft drink with. ||The bar had very strange opening time of 1030hrs - 1830hrs - with food being served will 1500hrs. Large selection of alcohol although it states Smirnoff vodka etc being poured when it was actually Glens. Same with other spirits too. ||You can get towels from the bar to put on your sun lounger but they are fairly small. |The loungers were in high demand and the majority of days they did run out of the loungers. ||The pool was clean, decent size, everyone appears to have left there inflatables which everyone was using. ||Location was good, lots of shops to grab food / drinks etc - lots of restaurants to choose from. About a 30/40 minute walk down to the harbour. ||Downside - we asked for a late check out on our final day ( our flights were not until 2305hrs) as you have to be out for 1100hrs - to be told they have no spare rooms or the ability for a late check out ( this appears to be as they don’t have any room|Cleaners on site after around 1500hrs). |A very rude staff member told me after I explained the situation and I was hoping to keep my elderly father his room at least “ I suggest you find another hotel to book a room there”. We spoke with another 5 different guests who were all in the same situation and had been told no late check out available. If I had of known this from the start I would have just booked the extra day to allow us to have a room. |We used the “shower” room which is down stairs, and felt worse after using it, the room was hot, humid, no air-con, no where to store you clothes when trying to change and the entire floor was flooded in both the men’s and women’s showers. ( there was only one shower in each room).||This final interaction and not being able for any guest to get a late check out has put a large negative on experience. I don’t know how you would manage this...
Read moreThe Pandream is a family run establishment, celebrating its 40th birthday in 2025. An arrival we were warmly greeted by Antonis who took us to our 1-bedroom deluxe apartment on the top (3rd) floor – just to note there is no lift so you will need to be able to carry your suitcases up the stairs! Antonis explained how things worked & informed us that in the kitchen there was a drinking water tap so no need to purchase bottled water, what a bonus! We were also given a card for a welcome drink at the bar. The apartment was very spacious, the small kitchen had a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle & mini oven/2 ring hob. Enough cutlery, crockery & glasses for 4 guests. A tea towel was provided & replaced daily – you will need to supply your own washing-up liquid, sponge/cloths etc. Bed was firm & very comfortable. The double wardrobe had plenty of storage space but not enough hangers so a quick visit to reception & more were provided. There was a small drawer unit in the wardrobe + the safe (no charge). Air con in both bedroom & lounge worked very well. We had a walk-in shower, the water pressure was fairly low & look a while to heat up. The mirror was well lit & there was a hairdryer. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner & liquid hand soap was of an excellent quality & was replenished daily along with fresh towels. Also use of bathrobe & slippers. Our room was cleaned daily (except for Sunday) & maintained to a high standard. Toilet rolls were replenished & the bins were emptied daily. The balcony was accessed from both bedroom & lounge & had 4 plastic chairs + table plus a clothes rail. We had a pool view. We didn’t use the breakfast room adjoining the Pandream but guests could purchase breakfast at a charge of 12€ each. The little supermarket is great for essentials but there are other larger ones nearby as well. The whole complex is well maintained & cared for. The pool area was kept immaculate by daily cleaning of the sunbeds & of course Mark cleaning the pool every morning. Pool towels were available at the pool bar & could be changed easily. Drink prices were good & Lisa was friendly & happy to chat. Snacks were available between 12 & 3pm but we didn’t eat there. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere around the pool. Water temperature pleasant for a swim. We never struggled to get a sunbed & we found that most guests during our stay just relaxed & read a book although I would imagine during the peak summer months it would busier & noisier with families. Special mentions to Antonis & Lisa on reception, Laura at the pool bar & Mark. Also to Charis (hotel manager) who was approachable & visible. We especially liked the way she celebrated her 40th birthday providing guests around the pool with a glass of champagne! With hospitality like this we can see why this apart-hotel attracts many repeat customers. The location is excellent. Close enough to the Triangle with its bars, restaurants & supermarkets if not wanting to venture too far, almost opposite a bus stop and a beautiful walk along the coastal footpath to the main harbour area. In summary, the Pandream is a well run, family establishment in a lovely...
Read morejust now|New|Holiday | Family|We stayed here for 2 weeks from the 23/7/25. We came to paphos because our son was getting married and we wanted a more family run feel of accommodation and pandream certainly didn’t disappoint. Upon arrival we discovered that our veranda was a bit like a paddling pool so the next morning my husband alerted reception and mark the maintenance man swiftly sorted a pipe from the air con that didn’t quite reach the drain. We also asked for extra hangers for the wardrobe as we all had wedding outfits, these were swiftly provided too. The room was massive with plenty of storage space for myself, my husband and our 12 year old son, beds really comfortable and excellent housekeeping during our stay. The pool was amazing and a complete god send during a Cyprus heatwave. There was a wall of inflatables for guests to enjoy and play with which I thought was lovely! The pool bar was amazing Laura looked after us so well and I enjoyed chatting away to her oh and she made the most amazing cocktails. The pool bar food was very tasty and all was good value for money. On the whole all staff from reception through to the cleaners were lovely and friendly and very approachable. Location was brilliant a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants we particularly enjoyed dining at fiesta, tea for two, the rib shack, Romeo’s ( the suckling pig and kleftico were to die for! They also have a takeaway about 2 doors down where the kebabs and pizza was amazing! Happy island was a slightly further walk but well worth it if you like traditional Greek experience and the food again was amazing.|The harbour which is gorgeous was a short drive and only a 5 minute drive with plenty of car parking spaces and local taxis cost 12 euros for a small taxi and 14 for a larger one. I also highly recommend the kings restaurant on the harbour food and staff amazing, slightly more expensive but very worth it.|Back to pandream our departure day turned into a near disaster as the private taxi that was booked with our travel agent refused to take us to the airport as our cases wouldn’t fit in her car! Even though upon arrival they had picked us up in a people carrier for some reason they turned up for departure in a Mercedes which was never going to fit 3 suitcase plus hand luggage by this point I had to attempt to calm my 12 year old autistic son down whilst we were stressing ourselves of what to do! Thankfully my husband went to reception where the lovely lady ( unfortunately we didn’t catch her name) swiftly organised a 7 seater that we paid for! Which promptly arrived and took us on our way to the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend pandream and I would go again in a heartbeat so much so that we’re currently looking to book again! Amazing and thankyou pandream for making our stay one of the very best...
