Hotel Kavalerie — Hotel in okres Karlovy Vary

The location was great - close to the bus and secondary train station, close to the banks, restaurants, cafes and regular shops and then a short walk through the town to the spas and the river. Accessibility was not so good as it is on a pedestrianised street, so you can't pull up to the front door in a car or taxi. There was no lift and plenty of stairs. Breakfast was the usual, and very good. There were couple of nice cafes too out the front.||||I took a budget room in the back of the hotel but it was perfectly adequate and dead quiet. It only had a skylight window but that meant it could be kept dark in the morning and i slept the longest for ages.||||TV only had local stations. The room lacked any hooks for clothes and the cupboard had only one hanger. ||||Karlovy Vary is a truly wonderful place and really should be seen by all, and this hotel a very good choice when visiting. I consider my room to have been very good value indeed after spending a great deal...

The hotel is in the main high street near to the main bus stops. The check in desk is open until 7pm each day and you have a key to the front door to let yourself in after this time. The room i booked was a twin room with en suite shower/toilet. The bed is very comfy and you have a decent duvet which is lovely to snuggle into. The breakfast is good, with a choice of hot/cold meats, cereals, apple or orange juice and filtered coffee. Its a 5 minute walk to the Mill Collonade and 15 minutes to the diana funicular. There are plenty of places to go for food and drink nearby and being away from the collonade the prices are that bit cheaper. I cannot fault the hotel, being in a pedestrianised zone there is little traffic noise and the staff speak good english and have been able to help me with...

Kavalerie Hotel is extremely clean,nicely decorated boutique hotel located right in the middle of the city of Karlovy Vary. There are almost all kinds of restaurants,cafes,markets very close to the hotel. All attractions are walking distance. We stayed on 26th and 27th August for 2 nights with my wife,loved the hotel and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. |We had a beautiful,well decorated and extremely clean room with kitchenette.|Overall;|Great room rates,great service,rich full filling breakfast buffet. |Hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful.
