Republica coffee — Restaurant in okres Karlovy Vary

coffee is really good. However, is just a good coffee enough to be considered as a good coffee shop where you can peacefully enjoy your time? No, at least in my case.

Not to make any inconveniences i will clarify that before, service was really good, there was a girl barista and she was so nice and attentive.

However, last week I revisited the place with my friends , and the barista there (boy with the tattoos) was very aggressive, to begin with me , he was super rude and impolite, 10 minutes later he basically assaulted and almost choked my friend because of very stupid and unfair reason. (He drank tap water) and i will clarify we bought coffees there, we were not just sitting,occupying the place.

Therefore, I’m asking, is just a good quality coffee worth of your probable future choking, physical injuries or verbal assaults? Barista there definitely has some anger management issues and whats the guarantee that in future he will not repeat the same. Maybe you will be in the restroom for more than 5 minutes or you will just wear a red colored t-shirt and it will annoy him... how are these reasons any different from just drinking a tap water .. I don’t understand, It’s just very wrong and not ethical to treat people this way, especially when my friend did nothing wrong. So, be aware.

One of the best scented cafe's in city center karlovy vary. Approaching the counter, your senses will be englightened by the fresh brewed coffee, that alone gives you thrills. The prices are fair for the location and nothing is really overpriced. The waitress is very friendly to the customers and will make sure you enjoy your breakfast/lunchbreak etc... And here is the thing, she gives you this genuine looking smile like everything's just right (basically, really kind staff, unlike some other cafes in Karlovy Vary coughs Perla, fix your staff's attitude) Personally, i didnt come by this cafe too often but, every once in a while i came when i was feeling Meh-ish just because the coffee was very refreshing, and the atmosphere was very friendly, always made me feel good at the beginning of the day! well this was kinda disappointing. First of all, the interior is nice and probably one of the best in Karlovy Vary. It has bigger city vibe and it’s cozy. The coffee was simply not good, I ordered oat cappuccino and even though they used one of the best oat milk brands, it was very underwhelming, mostly because of the coffee flavor itself, or more like the lack of. They offer breakfast options for reasonable prices but i didn’t get one personally. What’s definitely the problem here is the total lack of organization. There isn’t any.
