This was the worst supper I ever had. The service was okay. The place was very busy with only two servers. But, the wait staff was nice. However, too busy to fully give their best service.
The food was meh and UNNECESSARILY over the top expensive. So, for starters, the garlic soup with croutons was very creamy, lots of dairy. It was tasty, but it was not a true garlic soup. It didn't have the garlicky taste.
For the main course meal, I ordered a vegetable salad with grilled salmon. You have a choice of either a marinated or grilled salmon. I chose the grilled one, but not overly cooked.
The meal came, and visually, it was a BIG disappointment 😞 First, of all, it tasted like a Ceasar salad, which I hate. It is just romaine lettuce with some cheese and Caesar salad dressing gross.
Well, my VEGETABLE salad turned out to be a garbage salad. It was boring romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, some kind of tasteless cheese with a LOT of Caesar salad dressing, but it wasn't even Caesar salad dressing. It tasted like mayonnaise (disgusting 🫣 🤮). The salmon was dried and old.
Where were the vegetables 😕? Why not just call it Ceasar salad with salmon, instead? This is NOT a vegetable salad.
So, I only ate the dried up salmon. I couldn't eat the romaine lettuce with the cherry tomatoes. I had such a terrible taste in my mouth. I wanted to vomit 🤢 from whatever white sauce they had used on the romain lettuce. It was too much of it, and it was so oily.
The server didn't even bother to ask if everything was okay, as they were very busy running around taking care of other customers.
I also ordered a minced meat homemade chinkali. This was very good, though a bit salty. It was better than the stupid salad. However, I couldn't eat it as I had a horrible taste in my mouth from the damn salad. I wanted to vomit. Unfortunately, when I got home, I vomited 🤢
I would never go back. I STRONGLY do not recommend this place to tourists. Too pricey, boring atmosphere and the food is terrible. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Beef cheeks - one of my favorite dishes that I often order at restaurants and make myself was not made right. I'm not sure what went wrong but they were somewhat burnt and chewy while at the same time having a flavor more similar to liver and odd texture. Might be due to the wrong meat quality...
We also had Borš - it wasn't seasoned well, and was somewhat flavourless.
What's called šopska salata on the menus can't be called like that. As I'm from the Balkan, and have it with almost every meal at restaurants and home, I know very well it's not made right. This one had cheese only as a decorative option and not a proper amount, and had no onions. Normal proportions for Šopska salata are equal amounts of all ingredients. This was more similar to paprika salad as 80% was paprika and only 2-3 cherry tomatoes, 2-3 slices of cucumber, 0 onions and decorative amount of cheese.
Halloumi salad came with ammost no salad attached. A couple of pieces of Halloumi on 10 rocket leafes. Such a shame.
We also had garlic soup and that was the only nice and well made thing. Unfortunately that's 1 out of 6, however one can't give less than 1 stars.
Service was slow in the context of long waiting times for food. We waited over half an hour for a starter and that was just a warmed up soup. Should have been on the table in under 15 minutes in a not full restaurant. Many tables who were seated after us got their food, finished, and left before we even started with main courses.
The waiter and the waitress were genuinely nice but were not offering any information on why it's taking so long nor communicated...
Read moreFound this hidden gem earlier today and what a stroke of luck it was for us. Food was excellent, tasty, hot and plenty, good variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non. The stars of the show though (other than the chef(s)) were the two fantastic waitresses Sophia and Rennata ! Attentive, so so helpful, always with a smile and excellent at their job. They controlled a full bar/restaurant inside and out and whatever they are being paid, it isn't enough :-)
We've been in Prague for a week and visited Karlovy Vary for the day. The experience was in the top two of our meals, the best service.
We thoroughly recommend the Harmonie, it's a great place to stop in the Historic old town, just a few minutes walk from the Bus and Train station, so pop in on the way to the main attractions or on the way back, you won't regret it.
Karlovy Vary by the way is a stunning place, ignore your initial reaction as you get off the bus/train. Have faith, the touristic area of the Spa and river...
