Pension Harmonie — Hotel in okres Kolín

Very nice little hotel located in town center, cosy room, everything was there (except of a kettle, and they didn't have an iron, but that's not a priority), comfortable bed, nice breakfast included, free parking, the town is beautiful too, overall a nice stay. |The only unpleasant thing was the noise from the street, it seemed very quiet, however the cars and motorbikes were passing a lot, dog barking around the corner, people greeting each other loudly, etc. So we had to sleep with windows closed (which didn't help much) on a very hot night with no air...

Don't expect frills, or many reasons to linger, but for the price this is a perfectly decent place to stay, a short walk from the central square. I stayed just one night en route by bicycle from Prague to Pardubice and needed little more than a comfortable bed, a bath and good wifi. A full minibar might have been nice, or an opportunity to order a bottle of water, or beer, but my suggestions were met with incomprehension. Even breakfast is taken in the café next door - actually a good breakfast. So if you can make do, then this place is fine....
