Mohutná gotická věž na Zálabské skále (mimo centrum starého města) byla vybudována zřejmě v 15. století za účelem ochrany mostu přes Labe, později byla upravena na sklad střelného prachu. Dnes (po rekonstrukci) slouží jak rozhledna.

Stojí za to projít po okolí, obzvláště po nábřeží, které se v době regulace řeky výrazně změnilo.
