Firstly let's start of with the only positive of a 4 star hotel was lobby 24/7 is clean and presentable. The receptionist we met initially was nazam a sweet kind girl from Kazakhstan, friendly and professional & explained in good English. The part I did not like the daily tax & handling of personal info which I never encountered in all my years of travelling. Only 1 keycard per room (I know differently, 1 per person strange!!! Our card snapped due to wear & tear the greedy owner made us pay for a new one which I felt was totally unprofessional & unacceptable. We tried to explain but in the end it was easier to shut them up with money 10 euro which is less than the tip that I leave at a food establishment or similar. After entering the room the first blow was Very small room for family of 4 for the price paid. To get around the bed it makes sense to walk sideways and tuck in your stomach thankfully I am medium build. The window should be closed despite the heat otherwise there will be bruises where you don't want them. Then looked for the air conditioning, which I actually expect in a 4 star as standard but NO you guessed it you have to pay to these money scroungers disgusting no common sense or empathy. When did you have to pay for air con in a 4*??? I have a 9 yr old who has severe eczema & needs room cooled but NO owner blonde lady tells me it's company policy I run multiple businesses we take each case on its merit but she was only interested in my money & not customer satisfaction anyway I paid & Aircon does not work typical. Complained it took several attempts to sort it out. TV does not work my kids were extremely disappointed I asked they said surely they can watch youtube on your phone WOW the audacity of arrogance shocking behaviour!!! I did find a simple fan which I should say is smaller than the one I have in my store room at home ha ha. I got thirsty and opened the "minibar" in the desk... It couldn't be more emptier. So it's not a minibar but a Mini fridge I would have thought for a 4* standard is still & sparkling water & fruits with snacks but NO it's extra here guys make sure you have deep pockets!!!! NOW I go to the bathroom to freshen up. I was amazed that it seemed to have been newly made and was the only eye-catcher. Then the frustration... shower gel/ahampoo the size of a sugar packet per person shocking at this point I am thinking they are really taking the *!!!! As a reminder ladies & gents we are talking about a 4 star hotel šØ and I miss the sanitary paper in the empty box attached to the wall near the toilet. Good thing I packed something of my own thank god. The bed is very low but you can just about get away it but if got a bad back then you are doomed š Likewise the furniture is outdated from the dinosaur era, walls need a lick of paint, carpet are so worn out they are begging for a change but stingy owners will not change because they are too busy robbing innocent tourist of their hard earned money. Went down for breakfast for the morning and discovered the room is smaller than it appears in the pictures again false representation should be done for misleading or even fraud???The buffet is edible is an understatement & inadequate for vegan, vegetarian & non pork eaters. Orange juice was off. scrambled eggs looked smashed & not very warm at all. Selection is very limited for a 4. Fruits & cheese were definitely from a few days a go but at least you can eat to survive. We just ate outside better than getting food poisoning. I just missed the slices from the merchandising pictures and didn't dare pour milk into my coffee. Disappointed no hot chocolate drink. The heat in the breakfast room is just as unpleasant, so that you feel uncomfortably damp during breakfast. Personally the lemon slices looked they have been abounded for days discolour urgh!!!! The list goes on ...........
*Verdict: AVOID like a plaque & don't get robbed by these greedy hoteliers!

Without warning about 3 minutes later an angry man comes to the door demanding we pay 10 euros for it, after a lot of back and forth we agreed we would pay, upon going to pay we actually got charged 50 Pounds! When we complained the woman (who was also rude to us) said that she was afraid of her manager and will not refund it. ||||As a side note the beer and refreshments are way too expensive and the fridge in the room overheats so nothing cools down||||When we went to leave the hotel (finally) we got ganged up on by all the workers there demanding we pay for things that were already broken and untouched by us and after getting aggressively accused of breaking the fan ( there was a small chip on the blade.. inside the cover), the curtains (which Were also never properly up), and for a killed plant!! We were forced to pay Ā£240 for ādamagesā.||||After this blatant con! One of our bags was held hostage behind the desk and they would not let us leave until they had finished trying to get money out of us, the male staff member even had the cheek to try and get us to leave a Ā£50 tip for the staff!! (He was very aggressive about the way he asked as well, demanding not asking).||||Worst place Iāve ever been too, besides from the poor treatment and being scammed Ā£300, the place was dingy and just not a pleasant atmosphere; the pictures lie.||||The only redeeming thing about this hotel was one redheaded staff member who was surprisingly very helpful and kind. usually working the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe room was comfortable but very basic. we couldn't find a single tv channel in English, apart from the music channel. which isn't the end of the world. The shower gel came in a little sachet which was annoying. We had a kettle and 2 tea bags but no sugar or milk. However, we did ask for some and got a cup of milk to put in the fridge. We also went out and bought shower gel as i didn't want to faff about with little sachets. Its ok that the kitchen staff couldn't speak English because they are native and i am in their country, and i cant speak Czech !|The whole hotel is a bit old and dingey but it is just a base. The breakfast was a bit weird (chicken and rice was one option) but it had toast and eggs, among other stuff. Our 2 rooms were, by no means, sound proof.|The pool is heated, we were told, to 25 degrees (that's freezing!).|When we arrived back on our 2nd night we asked for an extra pillow and rather than pass it to us, we were told it'd be brought to our room. I waited and waited then had to call reception who then brought it up.|There's pavement roadworks right outside so the area looked a bit like a building site. I'm sure its finished now though.|The reception staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. As a base, i have no real complaints although I'm glad the weather was good and we weren't restricted to the hotel room as this would've been very uncomfortable and annoying as there's nothing to do in the room if you take out the tv that don't cater for the English (that's also fine because I'm there to sight see not watch tv). I was expecting a nicer looking hotel but, again, i was only there for a few days although we were under the impression this is a 4 star hotel (im struggling...
