Kasablanka Apartments — Hotel in Prague

Pluses: ||+ The cleanliness of the apartment was amazing. The same applies to the furniture equipment of the room, which was bright, new & unused.||+ The response from staff was also excellent: I felt a warm welcome in the apartment and I liked how my wishes were taken care of. ||+ The nearby bars such as Restaurant U Bansethů, Zlý časy & Pizza West were really good, cheap & tasty. If I was staying in another part of the city, I would not find these hidden gems :-)||||Minuses: ||- The area... Nusle is not the brightest part of the Prague and I can definitely think of more beautiful city areas. ||- Furthermore, it is a bit too far from city center as it is not directly next to any of the Metro stations. You either have to walk a lot (cca 1 km) or you have to transfer using either Tram or Bus. But this is not that big issue...||- the amenities in the kitchen... it could be used only for a basic cooking. But since there were good restaurants & Tesco Express in the neighborhood, I do not consider this as a big minus...||- Elevator - a big minus for this one - this place is definitely not appropriate for disabled people on wheelchair or for mothers with strollers. The elevator is situated only on the midlevels, i.e. you always have to walk some stairs. Furthermore, through my 11 days stay the elevator was malfunctioned at least 3 times. But if you are not in any of these two groups, this should not be an...

Great place to stay in a beautiful Prague. The staff is very helpful, overall the place is very clean and quiet, very well worth the money. Not really close to main tourist attractions, but the tram stop is just at your doors, and another one is around the corner, so no problem with transportation. The metro station is within a 10-15 minutes walk. Police station, Tesco shop and cukrarnia (a candy store) is at the opposite side of the street. A few restaurants with local food and coffee shops are nearby. Will definitely recommend this place if you are travelling...

My apartment was superbly clean and very nicely furnished. Excellent clean loo and lovely hot shower. Very convenient for the city, the tram just nearby or you can enjoy a brisk 25 minute walk. One word of caution. The man on reception didn't explain the blue chip entry system - you wave the blue chip with your set of keys at the entry point like with a contactless debit card - and I had to phone the admin number to be told how to do it. RECEPTION IS NOT MANNED 24 HOURS A DAY....
