This hotel was terrible from the start. Our shower was broken when we first checked in. We explained this to the receptionist and were told that there were no alternative rooms available and he would call someone out immediately to fix it. After waiting over half an hour, a man came to have a look at it, just to tell us he couldn't fix it. After more persuasion he eventually gave it a go. It took at least another half an hour, but to his credit he managed to get it fixed with string and a cocktail stick... Not quite what you expect in a hotel that describes itself as being to a 4 star standard on their website. However we were promised that someone would come to properly fix the shower the following day. ||The towels were wet when we arrived and half a bottle of diet coke was left in the fridge. We had to wait over 45 minutes and ask several times for some bedding (we wished to separate the twin beds). There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, and we were only left with half a roll of toilet paper (which lead to an awkward moment the following morning!). ||We spent one night at this hotel before finding a much more pleasant hotel right around the corner. The breakfast was poor and the bread was dry and hard and no one bothered to greet us in the morning which was surprising as the staff on shift were the ones we had complained to the previous night. No one even mentioned anyone coming to fix the shower. ||Once we had found a better hotel to stay in, we went to check out and asked for some sort of refund as we had only stayed there one night out of five. The receptionist initially told us we could be refunded the four nights we hadn't stayed there but that we would need to speak to his boss. After trying to contact the boss, he said that he was unavailable, but that our money was still with the booking company until our check out day and we would have to contact them. We called them there and then in the hotel lobby, and they then spoke to the receptionist themselves. He then told the company that they could give us a new room (which they said they couldn't do the previous evening) and they would make sure it was clean with a working shower. Surely this should be the case with any room?! It shouldn't be a special effort! ||After several phone calls back and forth between the hotel company and the boss of this hotel (who couldn't be contacted for 2 or 3 days!) we were told that we could get absolutely no refund from the hotel. Also we found out that the hotel lied to us - they had received payment from the booking company as soon as we arrived there. ||When trying to sort out a refund in the hotel lobby on the day we left after staying just one night, the male receptionist, Nikita, was incredibly rude. He was messing about on his phone, not even looking at us, as we were trying to sort out what was happening. He was highly unprofessional and how he has a job in hospitality is beyond me; hostility is more like it! The previous evening we had asked him for a recommendation of somewhere to eat and the response was "I don't know I live in a different area". No offer of a map, or checking online. ||There was one receptionist who had the night shift who was extremely kind and helpful and gave us recommendations for where to eat. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she should be working in a much better hotel than this.||In summary; this hotel is not of an acceptable standard and the staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful and you would do better to...
Read moreHey, I am very surprised, In this place I eventually felt good. It is not luxurious, the pictures were taken somewhere else or in the future. This place is going through reconstruction so I reckon that is why the price is so interesting. 20 E for a spacious 2 bed/3 bed incl. breakfast, TV, WIFI, shower etc., 24 h reception. Great location, I am wondering why it is not packed. As I read the evaluations from others, it is true - the light bulbs are funny, breakfast one day ok, next day terrible. The cleannes in the bathrooms is not really good, especially the tiles and the shoer isolation, and it is true that it takes a long time before you get warm water.... But, theplace is going through reconstruction, I guess 20 E was price because of the inconvenience..... Anyway, I can not say much, me and my cat make a lot of mess, plus he is a kitten and was fighting with some flu or what.... Anyway the staff was helpfull, nice, no pressure, kindness, normal human behaviour, even boroughed me meney for coke while I was waiting for my money transfer. Anyway with the price it is true, I was supposed to pay 72 E, Exchange rate is 27, so I expected to pay 1872 + 60 that I owed, so 1930, but I was asked to pay 2149,-..... That is .... Read moreОстанавливались в Праге на 2 дня, нас поселили на 3 этаже в 31 номере. Трехместный. Вид во двор. К сожалению, один плюс: местонахождение. В остальном, могу писать только про минусы: 1. шахта лифта как раз расположена внутри комнаты, поэтому Вы будете жить по законам скрипучего лифта. Полагаю, его слышно и в других комнатах. А третье спальное место вообще расположено вплотную к стене шахты. Как там можно спать - не знаю.2. При бронировании номера у них в форме поставили галочку на двуспальной кровати, однако, получили две составные односпальные. Очень неудобно спать вдвоем. Просьбы заменить на один двуспальный матрас ничего не дали, другого они ничего не придумали. Сама мебель старая, уже пожившая. Фотографии в booking видимо были сделаны не в этом отеле ;) 3. сантехника, кабинка душа - уже пожили... после мытья головы слив в ванной забился, на претензии и просьбы - не среагировали 4. мусор в ванной за 2 дня не убрали ни разу, даже после просьбы.5. при бронировании было заявлено, что в комнате имеется отопление, холодильник, фен. Отопление было выключено на 2 день, холодильник поставили только после претензии в booking.com, фен можно было взять на время на ресепшн, однако, у них видимо один фен на весь отель, поэтому однажды мне пришлось утром сушить волосы на улице пражским воздухом:) Так что если берете фен, то берите его на весь период бронирования. 5. завтраки однообразные, но Вы получите сносный кофе, если попросите сделать нормальный кофе на ресепшн, покушаете сыров, булочек и сосисек, колбасок и т.д. 6. Обратите внимание, что парковка у них общественная, они не гарантируют наличие мест! будьте готовы поискать места в округе. 7. в целом, клиентоориентированность на двойку. Элементарные вопросы предлагают решать через руководство. При наличии тонны претензий и не соответствий описания номера в booking.com тому, что мы реально получили, мы пожелали этот отель покинуть раньше, однако, нам было отказано в возврате уплаченных денег... Руководство как-то совсем упало низко. Общий вывод: скромненько, не стоит тех денег, что мы заплатили и две звезды - это лучшее, что они о себе...
