Pizza West — Restaurant in Prague

I've been meaning to order from this restaurant as it is the only one delivering such a wide range of food to my location even though at a high price. I can honestly say, I was not pleasantly surprised, but at the same time not disappointed. My first problem was that they didn't have what I wanted, chicken nachos. They have them on the menu but they just don't deliver them. So I ordered a quesadilla instead together with a large Margarita pizza. The pizza wasn't that bad. It was pretty big compared to other "large" pizzas I've had. The crust was the best part in a way. It was so soft unlike basically any pizza I've had before.There was also a large amount of cheese with this smooth sauce underneath. This is all great, but the pizza just didn't feel right. It tasted like it was from a microwave in a way. Now the quesadilla was a different story entirely. It wasn't good in many ways. The cover and edges of the whole thing were so hard I couldn't eat it at all. It was fairly big. Bigger than most quesadillas I've had so that was nice. At the same time it wasn't really dense. The meat was really spread out so I didn't really enjoy that. The peppers were also put inside the quesadilla, which was annoying for me, but I guess normal people wouldn't care. Pizza and soup was very tasty. However the restaurant's personnel could get an update in the form of restaurant etiquettes. Our waiter welcomed us neatly, but then he put the menus on the table, didn't ask for what we would like to drink first. He seemed to wait till we put down the menus si he could take the complete order. Next to us people were leaving and new guests sat down a minute or 2 later and the personnel left the table with crumblings from the v previous guests, where they should have wiped the table with a wet cloth. Dne 21. 1. 24 jsme se zenou a malym ditetem navstivili tuto restauraci. Ze zacatku to bylo celkem fajn, mlady pan z obsluhy byl vstricny. V case objednani se to vsak zacalo zvrhavat. Nejprve nas presadili k jinemu stolu, ktery byl identicky, akorat pres ulicku, prestoze u stolu, kde jsme sedeli, nebyla cedulka rezervace. Coz o to, ale s malym ditetem stehovat kocarek a vsechno okolo neni sranda. Stacilo se prece domluvit. Pote me zarazilo, ze vymenit hranolky za vareny brambor (kvuli diete -smazene) je za priplatek, prestoze v jidelnin listku jsou prilohy obe za stejnou cenu. Tak tohle by snad slusnejsi podnik nemel delat. Proc priplatek? Vyjadreni znelo, ze jidlo psane na jidelnim listku je jako komplet a zmena se priplaci. :-O Posledni tresnicka byla, kdyz se zacal vedle naseho stolu hadat (nejspise) provozni se zakazniky a svaloval vinu na mladeho pana z obsluhy. A to kvuli tomu, ze cekaci doba v 70% plne restauraci v nedeli odpoledne, je 30-45 min. Je mi celkem jedno, kdo mel pravdu, zda (asi provozni) nebo mlady pan z obsluhy, ale tohle se doprcic neresi pred zakazniky!

Jidlo pozivatelne, ale za tu cenu nic extra necekejte. Jak bylo psano v jinych recenzich, podprumer az prumer. Ale nema cenu to komentovat, protoze reakce na recenze jsou presne takove jako sluzba v restauraci. Alibisticke vymluvy, a vyjit vstric platicimu zakaznikovi se nam nechce, protoze nemame duvod.

Skoda, misto je to pekne, ale (asi provozni) to dost kazi svym pohledem na platiciho zakaznika. Takhle se...
