Pension Veronika — Hotel in Prague

I lived here for a couple of months for work. The rooms are clean and it is quiet, but the bad points overrule this. The price is way too high for what you get: a small studio with poor quality furniture (hard old matress, plastic chairs..) that is in comparison far from the city center. The pension was a bus and a train ride from the centre of town. This was okay - pretty easy to navigate. Room was old but clean. Think it was a little expensive for what it was but we did book late. Breakfast good. Everything went okay until we went to leave and there was an issue with the bill. I believed I had paid on arrival but the owner said I hadn't. Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura perché arrivati in quella che avevamo prenotato abbiamo avuto dei disguidi. La struttura è particolare, il giardino esterno è molto grazioso, ma l'interno è un po' datato, al punto che la pavimentazione delle camere era realizzata con moquette marrone (pulita ogni mattina con apposita aspirapolvere, ma comunque non il massimo dell'igiene). La camera che ci è stata assegnata era una doppia molto spaziosa con letti singoli, impossibili da unire tra loro per renderli un matrimoniale, che si trovava affianco alla reception. Risultato: ogni mattina la sveglia con le rumorose chiacchiere e risate della propietaria. Una cosa molto fastidiosa, soprattutto dopo il richiamo del guardiano notturno una sera perché io e il mio compagno, appena rientrati, stavamo chiacchierando. La colazione non era da banchettarci, però c'era tutto quel che serviva. I proprietari cordiali, unico grosso problema non parlavano inglese! Al massimo un insieme tra la lingua locale, inglese e tedesco. Fortunatamente siamo italiani e siamo stati capaci di capirci. Il vero punto di forza della struttura è la posizione strategica: stradina tranquillissima ma a due passi dalla fermata del tram che attraversa la città, comodissimo!
