It wasn’t the chief’s executive experience I was expecting. The dining was basically, a surprise experience as you don’t know what you are going to eat. The flavours were pretty exquisite and worth a one time try.
The served food was explained briefly by the chief/waiter (this was unclear).
The protein part of the dinner was quite redundant. We ordered 2 menys and was expecting unique dishes from each meny, but that wasn’t the case. There was tuna, shrimp, octopus in the 6+7 course meny we ordered. Definitely say it’s not worth the money I paid (1000 DKK). I would suggest adding a penny more (2k DKK) and going a much personalised dining.
In conclusion, this place is worth a ONE TIME try only for the exclusive flavours you get to taste. The ambience was a low light mood and was ok.
The only reason we went here was to experience the “personalised dining” but this lacked the most here.

We have not visited Noma yet though so we'll see how long goma can keep the title. Overall amazing food, new surprisingly successful and innovative flavours. Not all flavours were equally successful to us but even our least favourite still were above anything you'd meet in a normal restaurant. For the record we picked the all around menu with 13 items as far as we could count, and that included a taste of wagyu, oysters, marvelous desserts and much much more for the price of 800 pr. head. Det Japanske og Franske køkken virker til at være et umage par at sætte sammen, og Goma slipper heller ikke godt fra det. Noget så elementært som at afstemme surt, sødt, fedt og salt, skal være i orden når man forsøger så ambitiøs en fusion, og det var det ikke. Alle retterne hvor der indgik rå fisk, smagte fisken bedre for sig selv end i de forskellige anretninger. Den gode kvalitet af fisk er også det eneste positive jeg kan sige, men det mangler også bare til prisen. Der bliver eksperimenteret og brugt mange spændende ingredienser, det smager bare ikke særligt godt.
Alt i alt virker det til at man går mere op i at lave noget der ser spændende ud end noget der smager godt.
Musikken i restauranten er mildest talt underlig. Det er en form for beat-musik der kører som får en til at sidde og nikke med hovedet eller trippe med fødderne til rytmen, det er på ingen måde hyggeligt. Måske skal det virke trendy? Lokalerne er temmeligt kolde, tingene ser ikke nye og veholdte ud (som man burde forvente til prisen) og vi sad ved siden af to lys der var smeltede og væltede 30 min efter åbningstid. Væggen ved siden af os er enten beskidt eller trænger til at blive malet. Bordene af træ er falmede og trætte. En masse små detaljer som den slags trækker ned i helhedsindtrykket.
Når jeg læser resten af anmeldelserne bliver jeg ærligt talt forvirret - det er en dyb skuffelse og bestemt ikke en billig én. Det virker som kejserenes nye klæder hvor ingen tør indrømme hvad der rent...
