Baraka is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine. Their falafels are hands-down the best I’ve tried on the island, crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced, and so tender on the inside. They’ve truly perfected the art of falafel, making it a memorable experience for anyone who appreciates this staple dish.

The schnitzel here is also a standout. It’s crispy yet tender, with a flavor that feels both comforting and sophisticated. It’s clear that quality ingredients and attention to detail go into every dish, which elevates the entire meal.

And, of course, the hummus is simply fantastic. It’s fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced, providing the ideal accompaniment to their other dishes. You can tell they take pride in their preparation, as each element feels homemade and full of love.

With such delicious food and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Baraka has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of Middle Eastern flavors...

This brand new restaurant owned and run by husband and wife team, is a gem. It is by far the best middle eastern food in Terrenas -and it's affordable! They make everything from scratch (including hummus and pita bread, salad, pickled vegetables, everything).

If you want authentic flavors, this is the place to go. We are "demanding" New Yorkers in terms of food. We have been visiting Terrenas since 2010 and living here for the past 3 years. Baraka is offering high quality culinary variety to Terrenas. Please try it, I can guarantee you will love it.

Disclosure: We are in no way related or payed for this review. We are genuinely delighted with this place. It has a small store front with a few tables inside and outside of Plaza Paseo (in front of the cemetery). Check it out!

Honesty said I never find it worth it to recommend a place until I went to Baraka. They opened about a week ago and I have been three times so far to try as many of their dishes as I can. Simple, honest and clean food but due to the flavors and fresh ingredients, your tastebuds are in for a real treat. The balance of each little dish is great and I can highly recommend to try their dishes. The families that own and run the place are friendly, warm, welcoming and are enthusiastic about what they are doing. The passion and excitement they transmit is the extra Ingredient that leaves your tastebuds wanting to come back for more. And don’t forget to ask for the special secret mango/curry sauce….. keep it up guys. I would love to witness your...

This place is so good! The name caught my eye as we were driving around, and one day I finally decided to stop by. Unfortunately, everything was sold out — which makes sense because they make all their food fresh every single day. I also loved having a short but meaningful conversation with the owners. They’re from Israel, and their story is so inspiring — it takes real courage to move to this beautiful little gem of a town in Las Terrenas. Now, back to the food: try everything! From the salads to the falafel, we loved it all. The baluli salad, in particular, was absolutely premium — fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable.

I love everything about this place, this is the third time I've eaten there and I'll come back again🤍 The food is so delicious. They make everything themselves, so everything comes so fresh, and the flavors are sooo good (my favorite is pita with falafel and hummus and salad). Good vibes all around, it's nice to sit there and the owners are such nice people that you can feel that they cook with all their heart. I'm vegan and I was happy to find such delicious vegan and vegetarian options. Thank you, I will definitely recommend to everyone I know
