Since living in the Dominican Republic, I've discovered that breakfast is not a big deal to the Dominicans, usually consisting of coffee and maybe some milk bread. For North Americans, breakfast is a bit more. The restaurants here in Las Terrenas try to accommodate us tourists and Expats with a breakfast "Americano.". This usually consists of some fried or scrambled eggs and a piece of dry toast. Thank you, Barrio Latino, for stepping up to the plate and offering a real breakfast. Their Breakfast combos, or "formulas," are excellent. They include the hot drink, juice, and main course. They bring bread with butter AND JAM! Something I've never seen down here! Read more(DO NOT GO THERE - FRAUD ALERT) I tried to give them a chance but I am in shock. Not only was the waitress extremely rude at one point she started placing the knives on the table and it almost cut one of my friends. There was also red lipstick clearly visible on one of the drinking glasses which the waitress also got mad at. The burger was still raw and red and for some reason I could not taste the meat. Not exaggerating, the worst burger I've ever had. There's more that I wish to say but the most important one is that they cloned our credit cards and started charging things for PlayStation on one of them already.
