Central Cairo Hotel — Hotel in Cairo

A clean, centrally located hotel in Cairo. Our room was large, with twin beds, a sofa, large bathroom and plenty of plug sockets! Cairo is quite noisy, so you may not find it too restful. The staff are all quite young, and really very helpful and friendly. The hotel were able to arrange a taxi from the airport. I struggled to find the driver on arrival but contacted the hotel and they were able to put us in contact and we located him quickly after that. The breakfast is fairly basic, but does the job. There is a McDonalds a short walk away if needed. ||The only downside for this hotel is its entrance, It is located in a rather old apartment block, along an alley way, which was rather off putting, However, the hotel...

The hotel was in very good location in the downtown Cairo and the room is clean and of decent size and for a good value. What made me use this hotel twice during my trip to Egypt was the friendliness of the staff. Also the hotel is on 7th floor and 2nd floor of the building. The 7th floor's corridor to the room is guarded by the front 24x7 and 2nd floor's corridor has a key lock to the corridor that leads to room (prevents outsiders to enter room), so safety wise I feel this hotel is very safe too. They are located on the 7th floor so locating from the street will need a little care for the first time. Follow the pictures along with this review. Take the passage into the building between the watch house & the home appliance store & turn left from the far end. Nice young team handling the property , which is rather new and for the price , offers great value. The locality is a bustling place with a variety of good eateries and street shopping.
