Tahrir view hotel — Hotel in Cairo

Employees are very friendly and respect, location of the hotel couldn’t be better.

Only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the rooms aren’t cleaned well.

My bed was clearly dirty and was full of hair

I told the receptionist, someone came to “clean it” but it was just as dirty after they cleaned up

Luckily there was a spare pillow cover and bed sheets in the closet that I changed myself, Blanket was still dirty and I had no alternatives

Also the dining room is filled flys, and smells like Cigarettes half the time

Overall, this place is not worth it considering there is a lot of hotels around the same area for similar prices but...

I left my passport and headphones and the owner ubered to me, 40 minutes away, to make sure I got them back!

Amazing hotel and even better service. It is on the square with an unobstructed view of the obelisk, palace, and Egyptian Museum. The workers were all kind, friendly, and went over the top for me. Ahmed, the manager (owner?) even chose the cheapest Uber (a scooter) to save ME money, when I had left it and he was already coming to give it to me. He even invited out to lunch on him...

Run away. They overbooked rooms. We arrived and found out that there is no rooms left for us. Even thought we called twice to check that the reception is open late at night, and the second to check that our 2 rooms will be next to each other. We were so mad, and in order to make it up for us they sent us to a hotel (they where saying that it’s much more expensive and they won’t ask us the difference) The second hotel was horrible.
