Good hotel for a relaxing holiday. Despite the three stars, in many respects it is not inferior to the neighboring 4-5 star resorts.
Location: The hotel is located in a cozy safe area of Mamsha, next to other famous hotels. You can walk along the shops, cafes, it's also close to the main street Sheraton by taxi (but always agree on the price before the trip, it's about 1-2 euros for an orange taxi and cheaper if you use Uber). There is also McDonald's nearby.
Room: I had a one-story bungalow with its own patio and I was completely comfortable there. Quiet, calm, conducive to relaxation. The bed is large and medium-hard, you can sleep well. There is always hot water, bathroom accessories, water, kettle, tea and coffee. The room is cleaned every day. There were no mosquitoes or other insects.
Territory: most of the territory is built up with bungalows, but there is also a terrace, a theater, fields for various sports. Everything is very well maintained, the gardeners do a good job. There are also a lot of cats on the territory, I saw a hotel worker feeding them special cat food and this attitude towards animals is highly appreciated. A big plus for Giftun.
Food: this is really only three stars. There are not many dishes and they are repeated, but everything is quite tasty. You will definitely not be hungry, but after a few days you will want variety. Sweets are delicious, there are always fruits, but the choice is small. The beer is really not very good. Alcoholic cocktails are not bad, they depend on the bartender.
Pool: not very big, but nice. They serve drinks and ice cream there.
Beach: an excellent beach for those who like to swim. The tides are almost imperceptible, soft sand without stones. There are no fish or sea creatures, there is nothing to see with a mask. There are a lot of yachts and boats nearby, but there was practically no garbage or unpleasant smell.
Staff: everyone is very friendly and positive, even the sellers on the beach. By the way, they offer good excursions, but the price is a bit high. The cook who makes morning omelettes is very colorful, he needs his own cooking show. I would also like to mention the guys at the reception, the waiters, the cleaners and others, they are all great and helped create a good mood.
Animation: every evening there is small entertainment until 11 pm, then people sit on the terrace near the main building next to the bar. There is also animation on the beach, exercise, darts, tennis and other entertainment. The animators are very funny guys.
Contingent: many German pensioners, middle-aged people who value comfort and peace.
Conclusion: a safe hotel where you can be sure that you will get exactly what you expect. Perhaps you will not have a wow-impression, but instead you will get reliable service without unpleasant surprises. I recommend it for a quiet,...
Read moreTo be frank, wasn’t worth the money! Horrible place, definitely not even a 2 star resort. First of all it took over 3 hours to get checked in. The room was small and sub standard at best. No bidet! The bed was atrocious!! Literal boards with a tiny foam topper and blankets on top of them. No mattress at all. There were huge biting ants all over the room and in the bed. They did come spray but we had to wait outside in the heat for the room to clear so we could breathe. My husband is in a wheel chair! Wheel chair access is so difficult here. The ramps are too steep with no safety rails and to get to any facilities for eating I had to push his wheelchair thru sand! Sand! They claim to have 4 restaurants! Complete lie!! They serve breakfast inside, lunch outside in the blistering heat and dinner inside. A/C…not sure they even know what that means. Very uncomfortable to eat and cannot get a cold drink. All drinks were hot and had to ask for ice, two small cubes!! Don’t overdo it!! The inclusive Buffett was cheap and all the same food every meal and very tasteless. To top it off lunch is served OUTSIDE in an overcrowded hot covered area on the beach! There was no option to eat inside and you had to fight with management to take food to my husband at the room. There was no attempt to keep the flies, bugs, ants or birds out of the Buffet. Not to mention how horribly rude the staff are, nobody waited in line and if you don’t speak Arabic or German they treat you like they are deaf just letting others run you over, knock plates out of your hand and laugh and call you horrible names because they think you don’t understand. Very rude!! The same food served over and over again and whatever was left from the dinner buffet the night before, better believe you saw it at lunch the next day..and the next day…and the next day. No way to order other food because there is no actual restaurant! No menu, just got the slop they served you. And again, with someone in a wheel chair, no way to get out and get anything else. The shops around carry chips, that’s about it. However, they managed to not mess up the French fries too bad, thank goodness there was ketchup for them. No health precautions, cross contamination or any way to keep yourself from a serious case of indigestion or worse here. Understand this is one of the best places to stay in Hurgada. I will never return here, total waste of money. So uncomfortable….no way to relax…horrible place to be. Had been to Sharm El Sheik two times before and always enjoyed the hotels, amenities, and the cleanliness of the city. This entire place is a dump! Egypt should be ashamed of itself for allowing places like this to be the best in a...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Giftun Azur Resort in Egypt, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a seamless check-in process. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful landscaped gardens and a picturesque view of the Red Sea that makes you feel like you’ve arrived in paradise.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with modern amenities that make for a very comfortable stay. We had an ocean-view room, and waking up to the sound of the waves each morning was an absolute highlight. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job keeping the room spotless throughout our stay.
One of the standout features of the resort is its amazing food. The all-inclusive package offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, with something for every taste. The buffet was always fresh and flavorful, and the a la carte restaurants provided a more intimate dining experience. Whether it was Egyptian specialties or international cuisine, every meal exceeded our expectations.
The resort's facilities are also top-notch. The pools are clean and well-maintained, and the private beach is perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities. The beach itself is beautiful, with clear, calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The resort’s animation team also deserves a special mention – they kept us entertained with fun activities and performances throughout the day and night.
The staff at Giftun Azur Resort are incredibly friendly and attentive. From the waiters to the front desk team, everyone made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets this place apart.
