The hotel seems to be discriminating against Asians, or maybe it's because we didn't give a tip at the beginning, that's why the manager and the service staff had such a bad attitude. First of all, on the first day, we arrived at the hotel at 12am early, so the desk staff told us to go to the restaurant for lunch first, but they only said that the restaurant was at the swimming pool (but the whole resort is very big), so we went there on our own, and we ended up asking 3 waiters before we found the restaurant for lunch.... After lunch we went back to the lobby and waited for check in, the desk staff asked us to wait (we waited for almost an hour), waiting for the hotel manager to come over to tell us some information, during the process we found it very strange, from the time we arrived at the hotel at 12:00, we have seen Europeans and Americans check in and get their room cards, and their luggage has been taken away by the staffs directly. Our luggage was taken away by the service staff, but ours was always placed at the entrance of the lobby, and we were not informed of our room number, not to mention the room card. At about 2:40pm, the manager finally came and told us to listen to the information with another table of Europeans and Americans (during which he spoke very fast and with a heavy accent) for less than 5 minutes in total, and then he asked us our room number, which confused me very much, and I was a bit upset when I told him that "we didn't get any information about the room number", and he responded to me because the time of check in was 2pm. The check in time was 2pm (I didn't understand why he asked me the room number), and then he continued his explanation with great impatience. He finally took us to our rooms at about 2:50-3:00pm, but one of them was still being cleaned... (The hotel manager was still talking like he had a point, "Our check-in time is 2pm", but the room was still being cleaned at 3pm...he really treated us like idiots...)

Next, we looked at the accommodation information leaflet and it said that you have to make a reservation for certain restaurants, but no one told us where to go and who to book with, so we didn't get a reservation on the first day, and the next day we wanted to book a dinner at the pool, so we went to the pool and asked a couple of waiters, and the first one said that today's reservation was full, so it would have to be made tomorrow, and then the next day we went to book again and the waiter told us that we had to book it at the lobby counter ... ...and then we went to book again. ...We went to the lobby counter and the third waiter told us to go to the pool...We were so upset that we went back to the counter and asked again, but the manager told us that we should go to the hotel manager to make the reservation! We just arrived two days ago, how can we know who your manager is and where he is? I really don't understand this kind of service, I was so angry! So we went to the hotel manager, the same manager who explained the information on the first day we checked in, and when we told him we wanted to book the dinner at the pool restaurant, he told me that it was full... and then suddenly he said, why didn't we book it with him when we met him at the beach in the afternoon! How did we know to book with him and how many times did we have to ask the hotel staff to book the restaurant? His service attitude is so discriminatory against Asians!

The food in the restaurant was really not good, and the food was pretty much the same for the three days we stayed there. The curtains in the bathroom were very smelly and moldy, and the floor was not very clean. The private beach is not particularly nice, the beach is boring, really beautiful beach in the area of El Gouna. The most important thing is that there was a waitress at the counter in the lobby with a very bad attitude, and the manager's attitude was also very bad! (Picture 1, desk clerk) (Picture 2, hotel manager)

Don't come and ruin...

We picked this Hotel based on the 9.4 score and 10 note from so many people on Booking! WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! If I take the time to write here IT IS for YOU, I have had my horrible experience there & try to avoid YOU making the same mistake! It is stressful to go in vacation & apprehend the dirty Hot&Cold shower, not finding a bed at the pool and beach, Anxiety of not having a spot to sit at lunch in the beach restaurant, I saw people eating standing up! If you don’t tip, everyone, every day you are treated like trash. At least we thought we would snorkel and enjoy the fish. The sea is DEAD. We went for a tour for 1 day, and understood it’s not going to make us forget the disastrous hotel! My worst experience with Booking.com. Their customer service is disastrous once we booked a FAKE Hotel like Siva you cannot change the reservation. Your vacation is Destroyed. You’re stuck in this Hell. Especially in a country like Egypt where you don't have a phone service and the Hotel changed my Swiss sim card with an Egyptian Vodafone card. YES, they don’t have WIFI except at the reception! The Hotel pictures on Booking do not correspond to the REAL. We had a picture of our Junior Suite and the room we had was just unsanitary. I will add pictures and videos so you can see. I warn the customers that Booking.com which I thought is a serious company allows a Scam like hotel Siva on their website. Some of the issues: Bathroom is old & dirty, shower is dirty, water runs Hot and Cold so it's horrible to wash your hair. The room curtain was broken, and we couldn't close it so light wakes you up. The curtain was fixed and a lamp changed in the bathroom so we can see how dirty and old it is. They haven’t changed sheets we have been there since a week. The floor in the room is dirty, we found nails and hair. Once we complained, they bleached the floors and bathroom, a nice smell in the room! When we go for dinner, as we don't tip all the waiters, they bring our drinks at the end of the meal. We were literally asked to give tips at the table by a waiter. Beach mattresses and tables are old& dangerous, rusted nails come out, everything is booked @ 7am, after this you can't relax. In the pool and beach area, there is constant noise, the sound system at full blast. Since alcohol is free, everyone is drunk, and their behavior is disrespectful. We came here to rest, it’s our only vacation we could take, and we were stressed the whole week. This is not a resting place. Booking could have reached us by email and helped us move to a decent hotel in Hurghada but they didn't move a finger. Hotel offered a room change, for a renovated one, 1st floor, no Seaview we paid for, close to the entertainment so not acceptable as we wanted to rest. And beware, the hotel staff are arrogant and rude!!! DO NOT GO THERE, IT...

HOTEL The hotel is well positioned (only 10 min drive from Hurghada airport), offering a pleasant resort lay out with manicured grounds and a nice beach. -Uber taxi journey from the airport is very cheap (about 200 EGP) but be prepared to get picked up by a very/very old car with missing parts and no aircon (Ideally pre book your hotel transfer with a local Tour Operator (about 400 EGP) ROOMS The rooms are quite good in terms of size with a decent bedding and sofa but all fitted with old furniture. All amenities (shower gel, shampoo, etc) were of very cheap quality Mini fridge (empty) in the room was convenient. Outdoor Terrace sitting was spacious and very pleasant (sound proof windows). Issues encountered in the room : -tap water with a strong chlorine smell and at times coming out with a brownish color (Recommended to brush your teeth with bottled water) -aircon noisy (cannot leave it "on" overnight). Ok during the winter months but probably unbearable during the summer time. -TV flat screen decent size 42" but quite old model (no HDMI, USB or screen mirroring options available) -Regular curtains blocking only 50-70% of day light (rooms not fitted with black out curtains) -No Free WiFi available in the room, nor around the resort with the exception of the main lobby. MEALS The food variety, quality and presentation was unfortunately below standard (hot food chafing dishes often cold). All drinks served (including soft, juices, beers, cocktails and alcohol) are similarly on the lowest quality side and taste all artificial and weak. ENTERTAINMENT The entertainment was limited but the team did a good job to keep all customers entertained every day with daily activities and nightly shows and live music. -Good beach volleyball & Aquagym atmosphere every day at 11 am -Entertaining night show 30' everyday at 9pm SERVICE I will say OK in general but not professional or attentive. The staff seem always busy and unorganized. If you start tipping you will probably get more service attention. BEACH Crystal Clear water, very shallow (can walk 100m and still get water waist level) Sand a bit rough with stones (don't expect the white sand beach of the Maldives) For snorkeling better to opt for Makadi Bay or Soma Bay with more corals and marine life in front of each resort. WEATHER We visited mid April and the weather was amazing during the whole period (blue sky everyday and temperatures between 27-31 degres C) OVERALL A fairly nice property with some shortfalls in product, service and food and beverage but overall a decent experience for the price paid. They are certainly in the destination other resorts offering a better room product and a better dining experience and the price difference...

Let me tell you something what nobody would say if 1- If I will have time I will definitely right a message to the higher person in Egypt for food safety and cleaning safety organisation who is in charge. Because many tourists stays there without having a clue what’s going on there. What even you see on booking.com pic pls don’t believe. 2- Room absolutely nasty, bathroom disgusting , shower curtains mouldy stinky, bed stinky old, not washed, pillows yellow, in mattress a lot of hairs. Floor dirty , dusty , hairy. Air conditioner not working. Toilet not able to sit as it’s not fixed, shower leaking from shower head. One sec water is -10 another min +60 burned my skin 1000 times. You are paying £900 which you have been working hard to have a rest but you are coming to this nasty place if you trying to explain to them they are saying it’s okay. It’s not okay we are not animals here. I’m paying money and I wanna it be suitable to live. I’m very sorry but that’s not acceptable. 2- Milk in coffee machine disgusting, cups to drink water or juice , tea or coffee not washed properly so many finger prints and always smells. Pineapple orange and apple juice I’ve never tried such a fake juice would give to my child. First day they cooked meatballs , from leftover meatballs they cooked for next day pasta bolognaise, and after that for 3rd day lasagna. Breakfast sausages pls don’t eat it , God knows what’s inside. The same cheese and rest of starters they have been throwing in container like a trash and put it back next day in the mooring every single day. Left over yogurt they was throwing everything it in one container and put all veg inside and give to to guests for the dinner as a yogurt salad. That’s a food safety. My neighbours two boys from Europe had a diarrhoea for 5 days because of hotel food. After that I didnt it from there at all. 3- All they think is about to get a money from you . Money is everything for them. So let me tell you something I’m a customer manager for 5 years and money doesn’t matter, you need to make Sure that customer is happy and welcomed so they will come back 100% to stay with you guys again. Bit after what we saw there in 2weeks it’s just not acceptable. I’m going to write a message to an international company who looks after food safety and hygienic service, because it’s very dangerous for health!!!! 4- By the way pls don’t read all good reviews bcz before you will leave hotel they will force you to sit down and write good reviews on booking . Com and google. Pls go to google reviews and check latest new comments with pictures from other guests.

Great place for vacation. Delicious food. The fish are perfectly prepared. Joy to live. Just some dishes are very spicy. Great staff. They will serve you right on the beach. Clean sea, no algae. In the month of July, there is high tide in the morning and low tide in the afternoon. bar in the hotel, by the pool and directly on the beach. We went on a Luxor tour. The journey from Hurghada takes over 6 hours to Karnak. It's worth seeing. Huge resort. Our delegate, Adam, reminded us that if you want to see the entire resort, you would need 14 days, because the entire complex is several hectares in size and over 12 temples. then we had an experience cruise on the Nile. Subsequently, we visited the Valley of the Kings (Tombs of Rameses). I can recommend the delegate Adam, he is great, has a pleasant demeanor and can arrange everything regarding the trip. Negative The only wifi at the hotel reception, and the internet speed is 1.1 bits per second. A disaster around 5:00 p.m., they start collecting towels and changing them for clean ones, but this time does not suit everyone, since people stay on the beach until six in the evening and therefore do not have time to take the towels from the beach to the room and therefore you do not get clean towels. as we had dinner in a restaurant that has cooperation with the hotel, specifically an Asian restaurant right on the pier. The dinner was gone, but the wine was 900 EGP, and over the internet the average price was 235 EGP per bottle. so proper speculators work here. When you are going to spend the evening in the main hall, the waiters will serve you on the ground floor, they will bring the drinks directly to you, they will take the glasses for you. But if you want to sit with company upstairs, no one will serve you. You must bring your own drinks. And you only get plastic cups. if you want to sit upstairs and have peace and especially silence, you have to serve yourself. As there are a large number of people on the ground floor and there is terrible noise. I was interested in making a reservation for dinner at the Steak Bar, so I went to the reception to make a reservation. Well, they were all full. so in the afternoon I ran into the hotel manager and he was very willing, he offered me a reservation for 200 euros. I refused. And the next day, one of the hotel employees came to me and offered me the same restaurant, asking 30 euros for dinner. Like people wake up. Open your eyes.
